Abstract
Cakupan pemberian ASI esklusif khususnya di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wonokerto Kabupaten Malang tahun 2014 sebesar 42,8% masih jauh dari target yang ditentukan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif diantaranya dukungan tenaga kesehatan dan Inisiasi menyusu Dini (IMD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat dukungan tenaga kesehatan dan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif, di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wonokerto Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control study. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian diperoleh karakteristik responden umurnya berkisar antara usia 26 – 30 tahun, sebagian besar responden tidak bekerja/ Ibu Rumah Tangga, pendidikan ibu mayoritas Sekolah Menengah Pertama, paling banyak ibu melahirkan di rumah bidan dan jumlah kelahiran atau paritas dengan 2 anak. Berdasarkan uji korelasi Spearman diperoleh tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan tenaga kesehatan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusi (p value=0,869), hal ini kemungkinan karena adanya faktor lain yang mempengaruhi seperti akses terhadap pelayanan kesehatan. Sedangkan, terdapat hubungan antara Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p value=0,039) dan OR=3 dimana ibu yang melakukan IMD mempunyai peluang 3 kali memberi ASI eksklusif dibandingkan dengan yang tidak melakukan IMD.
English Abstract
The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding, especially in Wonokerto work area community health center in 2014 reached 42.8% is still far from the targets set Health Ministry of Indonesia Affairs. The factors influence exclusive breastfeeding such as health workers support and early initiation of breastfeeding. This research aimed to determine the relationship between the level of health workers support and early initiation of breastfeeding with exclusive breastfeeding, in Wonokerto work area community health center Malang districts. This research is kind of an observational analytic research case control study. Data were collected by using a questionnaire. Data analysis is using chi-square test and Spearman correlation. The results obtained by the characteristics of respondents age ranged in age from 26-30 years, the majority of respondents did not work/housewife, the majority mothers education is junior high school, mostly the mothers was born at midwife’s home and the number of births or parity with 2 children. According to Spearman correlation test obtained health power with p value = 0.89, this case could be there are the others factor which is influence such us access to health service. Meanwhile from initiation of breastfeeding is obtained related with gift exclusive breastfeeding by p value = 0.039 and OR=3 where mother who do early breastfeeding initiation has three times of chance exclusive breastfeeding than those who do not early initiation of breastfeeding.
