Abstract
Caring adalah teknik perawatan yang terkait dengan nilai dan perasaan perawat terhadap commitment dan tanggung jawabnya. Caring merupakan fenomena universal yang mempengaruhi bagaimana seseorang berpikir, merasakan, dan berperilaku dalam hubungannya dengan orang lain. Keselamatan Pasien (Patient Safety) dalam praktek paling sederhana dapat dilihat dari tugas perawat, fungsi perawat menjadi sangat penting karena perawat bekerja 24 jam maka tanggung jawab terdepan dalam pengelolaan keselamatan pasien ada di tangan perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peran caring perawat terhadap mutu pelayanan keperawatan berdasarkan indikator keselamatan pasien di Rumah Sakit dr. Soepraoen Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kolerasional dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling untuk responden perawat dan quota sampling untuk responden pasien, kedua sampel berpasangan. Sampel berjumlah 30 pasang (n=60). Hasil uji korelasi Pearson didapatkan Coefficient Contingency dengan nilai signifikansi 0,486 lebih besar dari nilai kritis 0,361 dan p-value 0,007 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (p > 0,05) sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa ada hubungan antara Peran Caring Perawat terhadap Mutu Pelayanan Keperawatan Berdasarkan Indikator Keselamatan Pasien. Dari hasil ini disarankan agar perawat meningkatkan kemampuan caring dalam hal empati dan peduli terhadap keselamatan pasien dan institusi rumah sakit terkait dengan pengembangan SDM dapat meningkatkan kemampuan caring perawat dengan cara memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan yang bersifat softskill.
English Abstract
Caring is a technique of care in relation to the nursing value and feel towards commitment and responsibility. Caring also is a universal phenomenon that influent how’s to thought, felt, and acted in the relation with ohers. For simple practical, patient safety was seen as nurse assigment. The fuction of nurses are very important since they have responsibility to be with patien 24 hours Therefore, nurses are the firstperson who is in charged to be able to manage patient safety. This study aimed to determine the relationship of the role of nurses caring for the quality of nursing care based on indicator patient safety in hospital dr. Soepraoen Malang. Research design was correlational with a cross sectional study. The sample was selected using total sampling for sample of nurse and quota sampling for sample of patient, both paired samples. A total of 30 pairs (n = 60). Pearson correlation test results obtained Contingency Coefficient 0.486 with a significance value greater than 0.361 and p-value of 0.007 is less than 0.05 (p> 0.05) so there was a relationship between the Role of Nurses Caring and Nursing Care Quality Based on Indicators of patients Safety. From these results it was suggested that nurses to increased competention of caring it was`mean empathy and care for safety of patients and hospital was suggested to increased competency nurses caring by providing soft skill training.
