Abstract
Tuberkulosis paru merupakan sebuah tantangan global dan pada tahun 2011 menempati peringkat keempat sebagai penyebab kematian di dunia. Kepatuhan dalam menjalani program terapi diperlukan bagi pasien tuberkulosis paru. Pasien yang tidak patuh minum obat berisiko resisten terhadap Obat Anti Tuberkulosis. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan minum obat, terutama kepatuhan pada anak diantaranya adalah pengetahuan ibu tentang pengobatan. Pengetahuan yang ibu miliki diharapkan menjadi salah satu pendorong bagi ibu pasien untuk mendampingi anaknya menjalankan pengobatan selama 6 bulan atau lebih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meganalisis hubungan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang pengobatan TB dengan kepatuhan minum OAT pada anak. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi didapatkan sampel sejumlah 44 orang. Berdasarkan uji statistik menggunakan Spearman dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% didapatkan hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan minum obat (p = 0,000, rsp = +0,615). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi tingkat penetahuan ibu maka semakin tinggi pula kepatuhan minum obat anak. Disarankan kepada perawat Poli Anak untuk memberikan informasi tentang pentingnya kepatuhan minum obat tidak hanya pada pasien (anak), tetapi juga kepada keluarga pasien sehingga keluarga dapat mengerti tentang pengobatan anaknya dan dapat mendampingi anaknya untuk menjalani pengobatan.
English Abstract
Pulmonary tuberculosis is a global challenge and in 2011 was ranked as the fourth leading cause of death. Compliance in undergo therapy is necessary for pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Patients who do not comply take resistant risk to Anti Tuberculosis medication. Many factors affecting medication adherence, such as family support. Support from the family is expected to be one of the encouregement for the patient to undergo treatment for 6 months or more. The purpose of this study is to identify the correlation mother knowledge level about treatment of tuberculosis and medication adherence of anti-tuberculosis drugs in children. This study using cross-sectional design. The sample was selected using consecutive sampling technique with inclusion criteria obtained 44 respondent. Based on the statistical test using the Spearman with 95% confidence level a significant association between the level of knowledge with medication adherence (p = 0.000, rsp = +0,615). The conclusion of this study is higher the mothers level of knowledge, higher the childs medication adherence. Suggested nurse to provide information about the importance of medication adherence not only to patients, but also to the family of the patient so that the family can understand their children treatment and can accompany their children to undergo treatment.
