Abstract
Kanker payudara sampai sekarang masih menjadi masalah karena merupakan jenis kanker yang angka kejadiannya paling tinggi di Indonesia. Data yang dihimpun Yayasan Kesehatan Payudara Jakarta menyebutkan banyak penderita kanker payudara pada usia relatif muda dan tumor payudara menyerang tidak sedikit remaja putri usia empat belas tahun. SADARI merupakan salah satu langkah deteksi dini untuk menemukan kanker payudara pada stadium awal yang akan lebih efektif jika dilakukan sedini mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan tentang tumor payudara terhadap sikap SADARI pada remaja putri. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Analisa bivariat menggunakan Pearson Product Moment. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan pengisian kuesioner. Dari 320 responden, diperoleh hasil responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baik (53,4%), pengetahuan cukup (39,1%), dan pengetahuan kurang (7,5%). Sikap mereka masuk dalam kategori baik (81,3%), kategori sedang (13,4%), dan sisanya masuk kategori kurang (5,3%). Terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan sikap responden, p-value = 0,000 dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,624.
English Abstract
Breast cancer is still be a problem until now because it is a type of cancer that takes the highest number in Indonesia. Data collected by Foundation of Breast Health Jakarta mentioned that many sufferers of breast cancer are relatively young ages and breast tumors attacked not least young women age of fourteen. BSE is one of methods early detection to find breast cancer on early stage which would be more effective if it is done as early as possible. This study aims to determine the relationship level of knowledge about Breast Tumors with Attitudes towards Adolescent in Early Detection through BSE. This type of research is analytical descriptive study with cross sectional approach. This study used Bivariat analysis with Pearson Product Moment. The collection of data obtained by filling the questionnaire. Of the 320 respondents, the result classified them of having good knowledge (53,4%), moderate knowledge (39,1%), less knowledge (7,5%). Their attitude is in the category of good (81,3%), category of moderate (13,4%), while the rest including the category of less (5,3%). There is a strong correlation between the level of knowledge with the attitude of the respondent, p-value = 0.000 with the coefficient of correlation of 0,624.
