Abstract

Konsumsi makanan tinggi lemak jenuh merupakan penyebab dari kejadian dislipidemia, dimana juga terjadi peningkatan kadar trigliserida (hipertrigliseridemia). Namun, hal ini dapat dicegah dengan mengkonsumsi bahan makanan yang secara alami mengandung senyawa antihiperlipidemik seperti statin (lovastatin). Jamur tiram putih merupakan suatu bahan makanan yang mengandung lovastatin. Lovastatin merupakan inhibitor kompetitif HMG-KoA reduktase yang menghambat biosintesis kolesterol. Penulis bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian serbuk jamur tiram putih terhadap kadar trigliserida pada tikus putih strain wistar yang diberi diet aterogenik. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan Post Test Only Control Group Design yang dilakukan pada 25 ekor tikus jantan yang dibagi secara random menjadi 5 kelompok. Kelompok K- (kontrol negatif), K+ (kontrol positif), P1 (diet aterogenik + serbuk jamur tiram putih 25 mg/hari), P2 (diet aterogenik + serbuk jamur tiram putih 50 mg/hari), dan P3 (diet aterogenik + serbuk jamur tiram putih 100 mg/hari). Pemberian serbuk jamur tiram putih dilakukan melalui sonde setiap hari selama 8 minggu. Parameter yang diukur adalah kadar trigliserida darah tikus putih strain wistar. Hasil penelitian kadar trigliserida pada K- (52,8±0,15), K+ (147,2±0,26), P1 (71,2±0,20), P2 (118,2±0,15) dan P3 (104,4±0,18), berdasarkan uji One Way ANOVA terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antar kelompok perlakuan (p=0,021). Akan tetapi berdasarkan uji Post Hoc Tukey terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok K- dengan K+ dan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antar kelompok perlakuan P1, P2 dan P3 terhadap K- dan K+. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan terkait pemberian serbuk jamur tiram putih terhadap kadar trigliserida tikus putih yang diberi diet aterogenik.

English Abstract

Consumption of high saturated fat food that caused dyslipidemia, that may elevate of blood triglyceride levels (hypertriglyceridemia). However, it can be prevented by consuming food that naturally contains an antihyperlipidemic substance, likes statin (lovastatin). White oyster mushroom is one of food ingredients that contain of lovastatin. Lovastatin is a competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, which can prevent cholesterol biosynthesis. The writer aimed for knowing the effects of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) powder on blood triglyceride levels of white rats (Rattus novergicus) strain wistar that is given to atherogenic dietary. This research used completely random design using Post test Only Control Group Design. It had conducted on 25 male rats and divided randomly into 5 groups K- group (negative control), K+ (positive control), P1 (atherogenic dietary + white oyster mushroom powder 25 mg/day), P2 (atherogenic dietary + white oyster mushroom powder 50 mg/day), and P3 (atherogenic dietary + white oyster mushroom powder 100 mg/day). Giving white oyster mushroom powder made through sonde every day for 8 weeks. A parameter that measured was blood triglyceride levels of white rats. The research result of blood triglyceride levels in group K- (52,8±0,15), K+ (147,2±0,26), P1 (71,2±0,20), P2 (118,2±0,15) and P3 (104,4±0,18), according to One Way ANOVA test that indicates there is a significant difference between treatment groups (p = 0.021). Meanwhile, based on the test of Post Hoc Tukey shows that there is a significant difference between K- with K+ group and there is not a significant difference between P1, P2 and P3 group. The conclusion of this research is there is no influence on white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) powder on blood triglyceride levels of white rats (Rattus novergicus) that given atherogenic dietary.
