Abstract
Dislipidemia merupakan gangguan metabolisme lipoprotein yang salah satunya ditandai oleh penurunan kadar HDL di dalam darah. Jamur Tiram Putih merupakan bahan makanan yang banyak mengandung zat gizi dan senyawa lain yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh diantaranya senyawa lovastatin. Senyawa lovastatin merupakan senyawa inhibitor kompetitif HMG-KoA reduktase yang mampu menurunkan kolesterol plasma dengan efek samping kecil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung jamur tiram putih terhadap kadar HDL tikus putih yang diberi diet aterogenik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Posttest Control Group yang dilakukan pada 25 ekor tikus jantan yang dibagi secara random menjadi 5 kelompok. Kelompok I adalah tikus yang diberi pakan normal, kelompok II diberi diet aterogenik, kelompok III diberi diet aterogenik+tepung jamur tiram putih 25 mg, kelompok IV diberi diet aterogenik+tepung jamur tiram putih 50 mg dan kelompok V diberi diet aterogenik+tepung jamur tiram putih 100 mg. Pemberian tepung jamur tiram putih dilakukan secara per oral melalui sonde setiap hari selama 8 minggu. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh pemberian tepung jamur tiram putih terhadap kadar HDL tikus putih yang diberi diet aterogenik dan hasil uji statistik Oneway ANOVA menunjukkan signifikansi p=0,029. Dosis optimal ialah pada kelompok perlakuan IV yaitu dengan dosis 50 mg.
English Abstract
Dyslipidemia is lipoprotein metabolism disorder which is marked by an increasing of HDL in blood serum. White Oyster Mushroom is a food that contains a lot of nutrients and other substances needed by the body such as the compound lovastatin. Lovastatin is a compound competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase were able to lower plasma cholesterol with little side effects. The aim of this study to find out effect of white oyster mushrooms of HDL rats with atherogenic diet. This study used the control group posttest design in 25 male rats that is divided randomly into 5 groups. First group was given normal diet, second group was given atherogenic diet, third group was given atherogenic diet +25 mg white oyster mushrooms flour, fourth group was given atherogenic diet +50 mg white oyster mushrooms flour and the fifth group was given atherogenic diet+100 mg white oyster mushrooms flour. White oyster mushrooms flour was given orally with gavage treatment in 8 weeks. The conclusion of this study is no effect of white oyster mushrooms flour of HDL rats with atherogenic diet and results One Way ANOVA test showed statistical significance p=0,029. The best dossage of white oyster mushrooms flour is in fourth groups of treatment that was given 50 mg
