Abstract
Salah satu industri yang membutuhkan mesin sebagai alat penting untuk keberlangsungan produksinya yaitu PTPN X PG. Watoetoelis (Persero). Salah satu stasiun terpenting di proses produksi adalah stasiun giling. Permasalahan stasiun giling diakibatkan oleh kerusakan pada mesin giling, yaitu rol giling. Kerusakan rolgilingbeban kerja terlalu berat dan kondisi komponen aus menyebabkan penurunan diameter rol giling serta belum adanya jadwal penggantian rol giling secara berkala. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem penggantian rol giling menggunakan metodekurva trade off. Perhitungan menggunakan kurva trade off dilakukan berdasarkan biaya penggantian rol dan biaya operasional. Penentuan jadwal menggunakan perhitungan matematis berdasarkan persamaan Jardine dengan rumus :C = - T/tr Cr - Cr + 10000000000 T/tr e 0.0001 (tr) – 10000000000 T/tr . Berdasarkan penelitian, diketahui penurunan diameter rol giling atas gilingan I memiliki rata-rata penurunan terbesar karena beban kerja lebih berat dengan penurunan sebesar 8,8 mm. Dengan persamaan ∫_0^tr1000000 + 06 e 0.0001 (t) dt dan lama periode penggantian selama 8 musim, dapat ditemukan bahwa jadwal penggantian rol pada frekuensi 2,98 setiap 420 hari dengan biaya operasional sebesar Rp1.276.620.514,00 dan biaya penggantian sebesar Rp1.251.042.857,00. Dengan adanya pertimbangan preventive maintenance yang dilakukan perusahaan, maka perusahaan dapat melakukan penghematan biaya sebesar 28,8%.
English Abstract
One of the industries that need machine as important tool for the sustainability of its production is PTPN X (Persero) Watoetoelis Sugar Mill. Station that plays important role in production process is mill station. Problems in mill station are caused by damage of the milling machine, which is the mill roll. Damage on the mill roll caused by heavy work load and worn out components causes diameter decrease of and the absence regular mill rolls scheduled replacement owned by company. Therefore, this research tries to propose a replacement system of mill roll using the trade off curve method. The calculation using the trade off curve is done based on roll replacement cost and operating costs. Scheduling can also use mathematical calculations by formulas based on Jardine formula i.e: C = - T/tr Cr - Cr + 10000000000 T/tr e 0.0001 (tr) – 10000000000 T/tr . Based on the research, it is known that the decrease of top mill roll diameter on mill set I has the largest average decrease due to heavier workload with decrease of 8.8 mm. With the equation of ∫_0^tr1000000 + 06 e 0.0001 (t) dt and the duration of the replacement period for 8 milling seasons, it can be found that the roll replacement schedule frequency is at 2.98 every 420 days with operational cost of Rp1.276.620.514,00 and Replacement cost of Rp1.251.042.857,00. With the consideration of preventive maintenance made by the company, the company can make saving cost of 28,8%
