Abstract

Menurut survei dari 82 responden, hanya 12 responden yang lebih memilih menggunakan VLIVE, sedangkan sisanya memilih streaming menggunakan Youtube. Hal tersebut dikarenakan bahwa website VLIVE menampilkan konten non-universal, berbeda dengan Youtube. Website VLIVE lebih berat atau membutuhkan koneksi internet yang lebih kuat untuk mengaksesnya daripada Youtube. Penelitian ini akan memberikan analisis perbandingan user experience pada website VLIVE dan Youtube secara subjektif dan objektif. Terdapat dua kelompok responden: kelompok website VLIVE dan kelompok Youtube. Analisis secara objektif akan dilakukan skenario testing terhadap responden berdasarkan parameter: task completed, error during task performance, time per completed task dan number of clicks during task completion. Analisis secara subjektif dilakukan wawancara terhadap responden berdasarkan faktor user experience honeycomb. Hasil analisis secara objektif diperoleh Youtube merupakan website yang lebih efektif dan mudah digunakan dibanding dengan website VLIVE berdasarkan parameter task completed. Berdasarkan parameter error during task performance, website VLIVE dapat dikatakan sebagai website yang lebih efektif dan lebih mudah digunakan daripada Youtube. Sedangkan website VLIVE lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan Youtube berdasarkan parameter time per completed task dan parameter number of clicks during task completion. Analisis secara subjektif didapatkan hasil faktor-faktor user experience yaitu useful: kedua website memiliki pengkategorian konten yang berbeda, usable: dalam pengoperasiannya kedua website mudah digunakan, desirable: konten yang terdapat pada website VLIVE lebih eksklusif dibandingkan dengan konten pada Youtube, findable: Fitur yang terdapat pada website VLIVE dan Youtube hanya berbeda pada nama fitur yang disediakan, accesable: dibutuhkan adanya koneksi internet untuk bisa mengakses website VLIVE dan Youtube, dan credible: website VLIVE mempunyai beberapa alternatif akun media sosial yang bisa digunakan untuk login, sedangkan Youtube hanya dapat menggunakan email. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan masing-masing karakteristik kelebihan dan kekurangan kedua website tersebut.

English Abstract

According to a survey of 82 respondents, only 12 respondents prefer to use VLIVE, while the rest choose to stream using Youtube. It because the VLIVE content is segmented, unlike Youtube. VLIVE is heavier or requires a stronger internet connection to access it than Youtube. This study will provide user experience comparison analysis on VLIVE and Youtube websites subjectively and objectively. There are two groups of respondents: the VLIVE website group and the Youtube website group. The objective analysis will be tested using scenario based on parameters: task completed, error during task performance, time per completed task and number of clicks during task completion. The subjective analysis was conducted by interviews of respondents based on user experience honeycomb factor. As a result of the objective analysis, this studies reported that Youtube is more effective and easy to use compared with VLIVE based on the parameters of task completed. Based on error parameters during task performance, VLIVE can be regarded as a website that is more effective and easier to use than Youtube. While VLIVE is more efficient than Youtube based on parameters of time per completed task and parameter number of clicks during task completion. The subjective analysis is obtained of user experience factors that are: useful: both websites have different content categorization, usable: both websites are easy to use, desirable: the content of the VLIVE website is more exclusive than Youtube, findable: the features is contained in the VLIVE and Youtube websites differ only in the name of the provided feature, accessible: it takes an internet connection to access the VLIVE and Youtube website, and credible: the VLIVE website has several alternative social media accounts that can be used to login, while on Youtube user have to use email. The conclusion of this study brings about each of the advantages and disadvantages of both characteristics.
