Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh toko Jumbo Cell dalam mempromosikan dan menjual produknya kepada konsumen. Hal ini dikarenakan toko Jumbo Cell dalam menjual produknya masih menggunakan sistem penjualan konvensional dimana pembeli berhubungan secara langsung dengan datang ke toko Jumbo Cell. Dengan demikian, pembeli membutuhkan biaya yang lebih besar dan waktu yang cukup lama untuk membeli handphone yang diinginkan, selain itu pembeli kurang mendapatkan informasi tentang produk-produk baru yang dijual pada toko Jumbo Cell serta media pemasaran yang digunakan adalah media promosi dengan cara memasang spanduk dan penyebaran brosur. Strategi pemasaran yang seperti ini membutuhkan biaya yang cukup besar dan terlihat kurang menarik. Dengan melakukan Implementasi E-Commerce diharapkan akan memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh toko Jumbo Cell. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan sistem penjualan yang berjalan saat ini, mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang ada serta melakukan Implementasi E-Commerce guna memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui proses wawancara dengan narasumber, observasi langsung beberapa proses yang ada, dan studi pustaka mengenai Implementasi E-Commerce. Hasil penelitian ini adalah melakukan Implementasi Sistem E-Commerce dengan menggunkan program open source bernama Prestashop. Dengan menggunakan Prestashop sistem penjualan dapat berjalan dengan baik dimana toko jumbo cell tidak perlu menggunakan media promosi berupa penyebaran brosur serta spanduk yang membutuhkan biaya yang banyak. Dengan melakukan Implementasi E-Commerce menggunakan program prestashop sistem akan berjalan dengan lebih efektif dan efisien.
English Abstract
The research was conducted on the basis of the problems faced by your Jumbo stores in promoting and selling their products to consumers . This is because your Jumbo store in selling products are still using conventional sales system where the buyer is directly related to Jumbo come into your store. Thus, buyers require greater cost and time that is sufficiently long to buy desired mobile phones, in addition to the buyers lack of information about the new products that are sold in stores Jumbo Cell well as your marketing medium used is a media campaign by placing banners and distribution of brochures. Marketing strategy like this requires considerable cost and look less attractive. By doing Implementation of E-Commerce is expected to provide solutions to problems faced by your Jumbo store. The purpose of this study is to describe a system running the current sales, identify existing problems and perform E-Commerce Implementation in order to provide solutions to the problems faced. Data collection techniques in this study is through a process of interviews with informants, direct observation of some existing processes, and literature on the Implementation of E-Commerce. The results of this study is to conduct E-Commerce Implementation System by using an open source program called PrestaShop. By using Prestashop selling system can work well where stores do not need to use a cell jumbo promotional media such as the distribution of brochures and banners that cost that much . By doing Implementation of E-Commerce system will use the program prestahop run more effectively and efficiently.
