Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran dari sibling rivalry pada anak kembar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 3 pasang anak kembar yang berusia 12-18 tahun (remaja). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur dan observasi non partisipan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data model interaktif menurut Miles-Huberman. Validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan proses triangulasi data dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subyek mengalami sibling rivalry yang rendah. Hal ini dilihat dari meskipun sering terjadinya pertengkaran diantara ketiga pasang anak kembar, tetapi mereka tetap memiliki hubungan yang baik. English Abstract
The objective of this study is to describe sibling rivalry in twins using phenomenological approach. The subjects of this qualitative study are 3 pairs twins of 12-18 years of age (teenagers). The data of this study were collected through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations and were analyzed using interactive data modeling techniques according to Miles- Huberman. The validity and realibility of the data were assessed using triangulation data process and member check. The results of this study have shown that all the subjects encountered low intensity of sibling rivalry. According to the findings, despite all the subjects are having quarrel, they are still in a good relationship.
