Abstract
Dalam belajar bahasa Inggris, peserta didik dapat membuat kesalahan. Itu terjadi karena antara Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris memiliki aturan tata bahasa yang berbeda. Masalah penelitian dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Apa jenis kesalahan pada paragraf deskriptif yang diproduksi oleh Komunitas Fandom Malang K-Pop?. (2) Apa kesalahan paling sering pada paragraf deskriptif yang dihasilkan oleh K-Pop Fandom Malang Masyarakat Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis data untuk menjawab masalah penelitian. Data adalah 30 makalah dari anggota Komunitas Fandom Malang K-Pop dalam jangkauan 15 hingga 19 tahun yang dipilih secara acak dan berkumpul di tempat dan waktu yang telah diputuskan oleh penulis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para peserta melakukan beberapa jenis kesalahan ketika mereka menulis paragraf menulis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan kesalahan tata bahasa yang dibuat oleh anggota komunitas Fandom Malang K-Pop dalam menulis teks deskriptif untuk menggambarkan idola favorit mereka. Secara khusus, penulis menemukan 65% bahwa peserta membuat kesalahan tata bahasa dalam informasi yang salah, 21% peserta membuat kesalahan tata bahasa pada kelalaian, 13% peserta membuat kesalahan, dan 1% peserta membuat kesalahan dalam misordering. Total jumlah kesalahan adalah 303. Kesalahan paling sering yang ditemukan penulis dalam paragraf penulisan adalah informasi yang salah (MF) dengan 179 kesalahan. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan tersebut, ditunjukkan bahwa anggota Komunitas Fandom Malang K-Pop membuat kesalahan dalam kelalaian, penambahan, salah informasi dan misordering. Sejalan dengan saran penelitian ini, peserta didik perlu berlatih lebih banyak secara tertulis sehingga mereka dapat mengetahui kesalahan tata bahasa dalam tulisan mereka terutama dalam menggambarkan seseorang / orang. Penulis menyarankan para peneliti berikutnya yang ingin melakukan studi serupa untuk menggunakan teori yang sama dengan objek lain atau menggunakan objek yang sama dengan teori lain untuk membuat studi mereka lebih lengkap. Penulis berikutnya dapat menggunakan objek lain, misalnya novel, cerita pendek, artikel berita atau jurnal sebagai data.
English Abstract
In learning English, the learners may make errors. It happens because between Bahasa Indonesia and English have different grammatical rules. The research problems of this study are (1)What are type of errors on the Descriptive Paragraph Produced By K-Pop Fandom Malang Community?; (2)What are the most frequent errors on the Descriptive Paragraph Produced By K-Pop Fandom Malang Community This study used descriptive qualitative approach and data analysis to answer the problems of the study. The data were the 30 papers from the members of K-Pop Fandom Malang Community in range 15 to 19 years old who were randomly chosen and gathered in a place and time that had been decided by the writer. The result of this study showed that the participants did some types of errors when they wrote a writing paragraph. The result of the data analysis showed the grammatical errors made by the K-Pop Fandom Malang Community members in writing descriptive text to describe their favorite idol. Specifically, the writer found 65% that participants made grammatical errors in misinformation, 21% participants made grammatical errors in omission, 13% participants made errors in addition, and 1% participant made errors in misordering. The total of number of errors is 303. The most frequent error that the writer found in the writing paragraph is misinformation (Mf) with 179 errors. Based on those findings, it is shown that the members of K-Pop Fandom Malang Community made errors in omission, addition, misformation and misordering. In line with the suggestion of this research, the learners need to practice more in writing so that they can be aware of making grammatical errors in their writing especially in describing a person/ people. The writer suggests the next researchers who want to conduct a similar study to use the same theory with another object or use the same object with other theories to make their study more complete. The next writer can use another object, for example novels, short stories, news articles or journals as the data.
