Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perkembangan moral dengan perilaku prososial pada dewasa awal. Penelitian ini melibatkan 152 partisipan dengan kriteria usia berdasarkan teori Hurlock (1980), yakni usia 18 tahun sampai ±40 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah incidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan adaptasi pada alat ukur perkembangan moral dan modifikasi pada skala prososial. Skala atau alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur perkembangan moral ialah DIT (Deffining Issue Test) yang dikembangkan oleh Rest (Herjuno, 2015) berdasarkan teori moral dari Kohlberg (1995) dan pada skala prososial, peneliti melakukan modifikasi skala yang telah disusun oleh Yuniar (2017) mengacu berdasarkan teori Eisenberg & Mussen (1989). Peneliti melakukan analisis data menggunakan korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil analisis menggunakan data koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0.061 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0.458 (>0.05) yang artinya tidak signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, didapatkan hasil bahwa perkembangan moral dengan perilaku prososial tidak berhubungan.
English Abstract
This study aims at determining the correlation between moral development and the prosocial behavior in the early adulthood stage. There were 152 participants involved in this study with age criteria based on Hurlock’s (1980) theory that evolved people in the age 18 - ±40 years. The sampling techniques was proposed by using incidental sampling. The Measuring tools that being used in this study is the researcher adaptations on measuring moral development and modifying the Prosocial scale. The researcher uses DIT (Defining Issue Test) that is developed by Rest (Herjuno, 2015) based on the moral theory of Kohlberg (1995) to measure moral development, while on the Prosocial scale, the researcher modified the scale compiled by Yuniar (2017 ) that is refer to the theory of Eisenberg & Mussen (1989). The researcher analyzes the data by using Product Moment Pearson. The results of analysis using correlation coefficient data (rxy) of 0.061 with significance of 0.458 (> 0.05) which means not significant. It can be concluded that there are no relationships between moral development and the Prosocial behavior.
