Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh quality of work life terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional sebagai mediasi pada PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. Malang. Pengembangan penelitian dilakukan dengan mengkaji dan menganalisis baik pengaruh langsung antara quality of work life terhadap kinerja karyawan, maupun pengaruh tidak langsung dengan melalui kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pada PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh. Pemilihan teknik ini didasarkan pada jumlah sampel yang berjumlah sama besar dengan populasinya yaitu berjumlah 133 orang dan hanya 107 kuesioner yang dapat diolah. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan menggunakan aplikasi software smartPLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa quality of work life berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, namun berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional. Melihat dari hasil pengujian mediasi menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja memberikan peran sebagai mediasi sempurna pada pengaruh quality of work life terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan, komitmen organisasional tidak mampu memberikan peran sebagai mediasi. Jadi quality of work life berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan dan quality of work life berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui komitmen organisasional.
English Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of quality of work life on employee performance with job satisfaction and organizational commitment as a mediation at PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. Malang. The development of research model is done by studying and analyzing both the direct influence between quality of work life on employee performance, and indirect influence through job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The sample used in this research is all marketing employees at PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. Malang. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique. Selection of this technique is based on the number of samples that are as large as the population of 133 people and only 107 questionnaires can be processed. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square (PLS) by using software application smartPLS version 3.0. The results of this study indicate that quality of work life has no significant effect on employee performance, but has a significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Based on the results of the mediation test showed that job satisfaction gives the role as a perfect mediation on the influence of quality of work life on employee performance, whereas organizational commitment does not act as mediation. So the quality of work life has a significant effect on employee performance through employee job satisfaction and quality of work life have no significant effect on employee performance through organizational commitment.
