Abstract
Gigi tiruan jembatan adalah gigi tiruan permanen yang menggantikan satu atau lebih kehilangan gigi. Gigi tiruan jembatan digunakan untuk memperbaiki fungsi pengunyahan, memperbaiki penampilan dan memulihkan fungsi fonetik (pengucapan). Fungsi pengunyahan gigi tiruan termasuk salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien. Kepuasan pasien adalah sikap pasien secara keseluruhan terhadap pelayanan yang mereka harapkan dengan yang mereka terima. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap fungsi pengunyahan gigi tiruan jembatan di Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Brawijaya. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan cross-sectional menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala likert yang terdiri dari lima alternative jawaban (sangat setuju, setuju, kurang setuju, tidak setuju, sangat tidak setuju) yang diisi langsung oleh responden untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan pasien. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah stratified random sampling. Kesimpulan menunjukkan sebesar 2% subjek yang merasa netral dan 98% subjek yang merasa puas.
English Abstract
Fixed Bridge is a restoration designed to replace one or more missing teeth. Fixed Bridge used to improve the masticatory function and also esthetics function. Masticatory function of fixed bridge is one of the factor that can influence patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is the overall of patient’s attitude toward the service they expect with what they receive. The purpose of this study is to determine the patient’s level of satisfaction of masticatory function using dental bridge in Faculty of Dentistry Brawijaya University. The required information for this cross-sectional was collected from patients using a self-answered questionnaire. A five point likert scale was used (strongly agree, agree, neither, disagree and strongly disagree) to evaluate the level of patient satisfaction. The research type is descriptive. The sampling technique using stratified random sampling. The test result of patient’s level of satisfaction of masticatory function using dental bridge in Faculty of Dentistry Brawijaya University shows that 2% of the study subjects are neutal and 98% are satisfied.
