Abstract
Industri mebel Bukir merupakan salah satu industri kecil yang memiliki potensi untuk berkembang dan dapat membantu perekonomian Kota Pasuruan. Keberadaan industri mebel selain membawa dampak peningkatan bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat juga dapat memicu terjadinya perkembangan kawasan Bukir dengan pesat. Peningkatan aktivitas masyarakat baik dari segi perekonomian maupun aktivitas penduduknya, berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan pemanfaatan ruang kawasan. Kajian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik aktivitas industri mebel dan pola ruang permukiman di kelurahan Bukir Kecamatan Gadingejo Kabupaten Pasuruan yang dapat mengakomodasi aktivitas industri mebel didalamnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif berdasarkan pendekatan keruangan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa analisis mengenai potensi dan permasalahan yang dihadapi pada tiap-tiap aktivitas industry mebel, dan mensintesis potensi untuk dijadikan penyelesaian masalah, serta rekomendasi perkembangan pola ruang permukiman berdasarkan aktivitas industry berupa peralihan fungsi penggunaan lahan, perbaikan dan penambahan garis sempadan jalan maupun area pedestrian di sepanjang jalan utama yang dapat dijadikan referensi dalam menentukan arahan perkembangan permukiman industri mebel di kawasan Bukir.
English Abstract
Bukir furniture industry is a small industry that has the potential to grow and be able to help the economy Pasuruan. The existence of the furniture industry in addition to bring the impact of increasing the welfare of the community can also lead to the development of the region Bukir rapidly. Increased activity of the community in terms of both economy and population activity, influence the development of spatial use. This research study aims to identify the characteristics of the furniture industry activity and spatial patterns of settlement in the village Bukir Gadingejo District of Pasuruan that can accommodate the furniture industry activity therein. The method used in this research is descriptive method based on the spatial approach. Results of this research is the analysis of the potential and problems faced in each industrial activities furniture, and synthesize the potential to be used as the settlement of the problem, as well as the recommendation development spatial pattern of settlement based industrial activities such as the transitional function of land use, improvements and additions to the border road or area pedestrian along the main road which can be used as a reference in determining the direction of development of the furniture industry in the region settlement Bukir.
