Abstract

Sampel dipilih dengan cara stratified sampling untuk dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok “paper based” (n=11) , kelompok “computer based” (n=11).

English Abstract

Growth and development is a process of life that operates continuously. Early detection of child development is done to find the deviation of growth and development in order to be done early handling. The lack of interest of health co-worker in the early detection work cause the lack of optimum implementation of DDTK inspection. This study aims to analyze the comparison of early detection applications, such as, grow paper based and computer based on the motivation of health co-worker in the inspection of growth and development. This research used True Experiment with Randomized pretest-posttest control group design method. Samples were selected by stratified sampling divided into two groups, namely "paper based" (n = 11), computer based "(n = 11). The variables measured were co-worker motivation in early detection using paper based and computer based development. The mean results obtained from the paper based group pre-test = 76.79 and post-test = 80.50 in the computer based pre-test group = 79.66 and post-test = 90.55. The results showed that there was significant difference p value = 0,047 (mann whitney test, p> 0.05). The conclusion of this study is the examination of early detection of computer based growth is more effective in improving the motivation of health co-worker compared to the early detection of paper-based development. Suggestions from this research is for cadres to maintain or increase the motivation of child's growth inspection by using early detection of computer based growth.
