Abstract
Lansia adalah seseorang yang berusia 60 tahun ketas. Lansia mengalami berbagai permasalahan diantaranya dari segi fisik, psikis, ekonomi, maupun sosial. Adanya permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh lansia perlu tindakan nyata untuk mewujudkan pemberdayaan lansia. Di Liponsos Kabupaten Sidoarjo terdapat berbagai macam kegiatan untuk menunjang proses pemberdayaan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan lansia. Sekaligus untuk mengisi waktu luang agar menjadi bermanfaat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan mengenai tahapan dan hasil pemberdayaan lansia oleh UPTD Liponsos Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Sasaran analisis dan informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala Dinas Sosial, Kepala Unit Pelaksana Tugas Daerah Lingkungan Pondok Sosial, Lansia Terlantar yang ada di UPTD Liponsos. Sedangkan untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan lansia dilakukan 6 tahapan yang meliputi pertama Tahap penyadaran dan pembentukan perilaku pada tahap ini lansia diberikan pengertian dan penyadaran betapa pentingnya sebuah kehidupan. Kedua Tahap transformasi pengetahuan dan kecakapan keterampilan pada tahap ini lansia diberikan pelatihan berupa keterampilan pembuatan tempe, kerupuk, baki/nampan. Ketiga Tahap peningkatan kemampuan intelektual dan kecakapan keterampilan pada tahap ini para lansia bisa menjadi tempat untuk curhat karena waktu kegiatan ini para lansia berhadapan dengan orang yang mengerti tentang psikologi. Keempat Terpenuhinya kebutuhan jasmani dengan baik, untuk menjaga kesehatan para lansia diberikan kegiatan senam setiap hari jumat pagi. Kelima Terpenuhinya kebutuhan rohaniah dengan baik, pada tahap ini para lansia diberikan sebuah ceramah atau pengjian untuk memperkuat iman mereka. Keenam Terpenuhinya kebutuhan sosial dengan baik, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. para lansia dibebaskan untuk berinteraksi dengan warga sekitar Liponsos.
English Abstract
Elderly is someone aged 60 years ketas. Elderly experience a variety of problems among them in terms of physical, psychological, economic, and social. The existence of the problems faced by the elderly need concrete actions to realize the empowerment of elderly. In Liponsos there is a wide variety of Sidoarjo activities to support the process of empowerment and enhancement of the welfare of the elderly. At the same time to fill the free time in order to be useful. The purpose of this research is to examine and describe the stages and results regarding the empowerment of elderly by UNIT Liponsos Sidoarjo. Methods this study used a qualitative descriptive. Target analysis and informants in this study is the head of the Social Department, Acting Head of Unit Environment social, Cottage Area Elderly Displaced that are in the UNIT for Liponsos. As for the data collection technique of using observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study showed that elderly empowerment do 6 stages covering the first phase of awareness and formation of the behavior of the elderly at this stage given the understanding and awareness of how important a life. The second stage of the transformation of knowledge and proficiency skills at this stage elderly given training in the form of skills making tempe, crackers, tray/tray. The third stage of an increase in intellectual ability and proficiency skills at this stage of the elderly could be a place to vent this activity because of the time the elderly face to face with people who understand about psychology. The fourth Meeting of physical needs, to maintain the health of the elderly given gymnastics activity every Friday morning. Satisfy the spiritual needs of the fifth well, at this stage the elderly given a lecture or pengjian to strengthen their faith. Sixth Satisfy social needs, to meet those needs. the elderly were freed to interact with the community around Liponsos.
