Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlibatan seseorang dengan technopreneurship, kemudian memperkirakan perilaku pengguna dan memeriksa tujuan mereka akan membuka lebar penelitian yang telah ada mengenai hubungan antara penerapan technopreneurship bidang teknologi informasi dan penggunanya. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlibatan mahasiswa bidang teknologi informasi terutama Desirability dan Feasibility terhadap Creativity dan intention untuk mengembangkan technopreneurship ketika mereka sebelum lulus dan sesudah lulus dari lingkup pendidikan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh Perceived Desirability terhadap Creativity, pengaruh Perceived Feasibility terhadap Creativity, pengaruh Perceived Desirability terhadap Technopreneurship Intention, pengaruh Perceived Feasibility terhadap Technopreneurship Intention, dan pengaruh Creativity terhadap Technopreneurship Intention. Dengan menggunakan sample dari 187 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Brawijaya Malang, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi tersebut sesuai dengan Desirability, Feasibility dan Creativity yang secara positif berhubungan dengan Technopreneurship Intentions yang ingin diukur. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode SEM-PLS menggunakan SPSS dan Warp-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Perceived Desirability berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Creativity, menunjukkan Perceived Desirability mampu meningkatkan Creativity dari mahasiswa, 2) Perceived Feasibility berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Creativity, menunjukkan Perceived Feasibility mampu meningkatkan Creativity dari mahasiswa, 3) Perceived Desirability berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Technopreneurship Intention, menunjukkan Perceived Desirability mampu meningkatkan Technopreneurship Intention dari mahasiswa, 4) Perceived Feasibility berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Technopreneurship Intention, menunjukkan Perceived Desirability mampu meningkatkan Technopreneurship Intention dari mahasiswa, dan 5) Creativity berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Technopreneurship Intention, menunjukkan Creativity mampu meningkatkan Technopreneurship Intention dari mahasiswa. Hasil analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa 6) vi Creativity menjadi variabel yang memediasi secara penuh untuk variabel Perceived Desirability dan Perceived Feasibility terhadap variabel Technopreneurship Intentions. Secara menyeluruh temuan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya bukti empiris mengenai pentingnya faktor Desirability, Feasibility dan Creativity terhadap Technopreneurship Intentions. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah kemungkinan adanya implementasi penerapan kurikulum berbasis kewirausahaan yang sesuai bagi mahasiswa FILKOM UB terutama Technopreneurship Intentions, terlebih lagi apabila dapat diberikan fasilitas dan dukungan yang lebih mengutamakan the best interest dari mahasiswa untuk menjadi lulusan yang mampu bersaing di era digital.

English Abstract

This study investigates factors that influences the involvement of a subject with technopreneurship, later to predicts user behaviour and their goal that will open new research about the relationship between technopreneurship implementation in the field of information technology and its users. The information technology students influences whithin factors such as Desirability and Feasibility affects Creativity and Technopreneurship Intentions before or after their graduation. This research aim is to analyze and explain the effects of Perceived Desirability on Creativity, Perceived Feasibility on Creativity, Perceived Desirability on Technopreneurship Intention, Perceived Feasibility on Technopreneurship Intention, and Creativity on Technopreneurship Intention. Using a sample of 187 students whithin Computer Science Faculty, Brawijaya University, this study finds that participation in Desirability and Feasibility and Creativity is positively associated with measured Technopreneurship Intentions. SEM-PLS analysis methods with SPSS and Warp-PLS is implemented. The research shows that 1) Perceived Desirability has a positive significant impact on Creativity, 2) Perceived Feasibility has a positive significant impact on Creativity, 3) Perceived Desirability has a positive significant impact on Technopreneurship Intentions, 4) Perceived Feasibility has a positive significant impact on Technopreneurship Intentions, and 5) Creativity has a positive significant impact on Technopreneurship Intentions. Further analysis arising from Desirability and Feasibility reveals that is fully mediated with Creativity and Technopreneurship Intentions. Overall, these findings offer empirical evidence on the importance of Desirability and Feasibility on the relationship between Creativity and Technopreneurship Intentions. Future discussion for this research is possibility for entrepreneurship currciculum implementation with Computer Science students as target especially Technopreneurship Intentions, further more if better facilities and given supports for the student best interest to become graduate able to compete in the digital era.
