Abstract
Artikel ilmiah ini membahas tentang partisipasi perempuan dalam pembentukan undang-undang inisiatif Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia. Stereotipe gender yang dilekatkan pada perempuan adalah tidak tegas, lamban mengambil keputusan, dan lemah dipadukan dengan nilai-nilai androsentrisme yang tetap membelenggu hak-hak dan kebebasan perempuan maupun nilai-nilai keagamaan yang mengusung konsep patriarkis, mempertegas bahwa perempuan tidak layak menjadi pemimpin dimanapun. Dengan adanya hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya upaya untuk mendorong substansi bersperspektif perempuan, sehingga perempuan dapat terwakilkan dengan baik. Mengingat cara pandang dari seorang perempuan dan laki-laki cukup berbeda. Dimana rumusan masalah yang diangkat adalah mengapa diperlukan undang-undang yang mencerminkan perempuan serta agaimana proses partisipasi perempuan dalam pembentukan undang-undang inisiatif Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia. Adapun tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis alasan diperlukannya undang-undang yang mencerminkan perempuan, serta mendeskripsikan proses partisipasi perempuan dalam pembentukan undang-undang inisiatif Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah yuridis normatif atau penelitian hukum doktrinal. Dimana bahan hukumnya terdapat tiga jenis, yakni: bahan hukum primer, sekunder, tersier.
English Abstract
This scientific article discusses the participation of women in the formation of laws. House of Representative of Indonesia Republic. The gender stereotype attached to women is unambiguous, sluggish, and weakly coupled with the values of androsentrism that still imprison women's rights and freedoms as well as values that carries the patriarchal concept, affirming women unworthy of becoming leaders anywhere. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the reasons for the need to legislate changing women, and to describe the process of women's participation in the formation of laws. The type of research the writer uses is normative juridical or doctrinal law research. Where the legal material there are three types, namely: primary law materials, secondary, tertiary.
