Abstract

Pabrik benang yang berlokasi di Pleret, Pasuruan ini merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi tekstil khususnya benang jahit yaitu Grey Thread. Pabrik yang berlokasi di Pleret, Pasuruan ini hanya dikhusukan untuk mengolah benang twisting saja. Produk yang dihasilkan di pabrik pleret ini terdiri dari 3 diantaranya benang Continous Filament Polyester (CFP), benang Continous Filament Nylon (CFN), maupun benang Internal Bonding Nylon (IBN). Mesin yang memproduksi benang CFP, mesin TBR L, memiliki nilai downtime terbesar yaitu selama 96.930 menit dalam kurun waktu 1 tahun selama tahun 2016. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu tindakan untuk mengurangi maupun meminimalisir downtime mesin TBR L sehingga waktu lembur dapat dihilangkan. Metode OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) dapat digunakan untuk mengukur besarnya efektivitas mesin TBR L. Metode Six Big Losses digunakan untuk menghitung besarnya nilai losses yang dihasilkan oleh mesin TBR L yang terbagi menjadi 6 losses yaitu breakdown losses, set-up & adjustment losses, idling & minor stoppages, reduced speed losses, deffect in process losses, dan yield losses. Metode Fishbone Diagram berguna untuk mengetahui penyebab yang mempengaruhi nilai masing-masing losses. Melalui metode FMEA penyebab permasalahan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan dapat ditemukan dan ditanggulangi serta pemilihan nilai failure yang kritis menjadi dasar untuk dilakukannya perbaikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pada mesin TBR L yang terjadi selama tahun 2016 diperoleh sebesar 58,19%. Nilai Availability Rate 80,66%, nilai Performance Rate 73,23%, nilai Rate of Quality 99,13%. Terdapat 5 Losess yang teridentifikasi dan memberikan pengaruh dominan pada efektivitas mesin TBR L diantaranya yaitu reduced speed losses, breakdown losses, setup and adjustment losses, defect in process, dan idling and minor stoppage losses. Berdasarkan FMEA terdapat 4 failure yang akan diperbaiki sesuai nilai masing-masing RPN yaitu inverter overheat, spindle goyang, top motor burned, dan twist ring macet. Rekomendasi perbaikan dilakukan yaitu pembuatan lubang pembuangan pada emergency lock door, penerapan autonomous maintenance dalam melakukan kegiatan pembersihan maupun pelumasan, memberikan batas pada spindle, penggunaan waste bag, dan pemasangan CCTV sebagai upaya pengawasan pada operator.

English Abstract

Yarn factory which located in Pleret, Pasuruan is a company that produces thread, especially grey thread. The factory is only produces twist yarns. There are 3 thread which factory produced i.e. Continous Filament Polyester (CFP), Continous Filament Nylon (CFN), and Internal Bonding Nylon (IBN) thread. The machine who producing CFP yarn, TBR L machine, has the highest downtime (96,930 minutes) during 2016. Therefore, an action is needed to reduce or minimize the downtime of the TBR L machine so that overtime can be eliminated. OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) method can be used to measure the effectiveness of TBR L machine. Six Big Losses method is used to calculate the amount of losses generated by TBR L machine and had 6 losses: breakdown losses, set-up & adjustment losses, idling & minor stoppages, reduced speed losses, deffect in process losses, and yield losses. Fishbone Diagram method used to identify the causes that affect the value of each losses. By using FMEA method, causing problems and impacts can be found and handled by selected the critical failure rates that should be fixed The result showed that the average of Equipment Overall Effectiveness (OEE) on TBR L machine that occurred during 2016 was at 58.19%. Availability Value Rate 80.66%, Performance Rate 73,23%, Rate of Quality 99,13%. There are 5 Losess that are identified and affect on the effectiveness of TBR L machine such as reduced speed losses, breakdown losses, setup and adjustment losses, defect in process, and idling and minor stoppage losses. Based on FMEA score, there are 4 failures that will be fixed according to the value of each RPN; inverter overheat, spindle shaking, top motor burned, and twist ring jammed. There are few recommendations are given i.e. make cavity on emergency lock doors, the application of autonomous maintenance in cleaning and lubrication activities, add measurment limits on spindle, waste bag usage, and installation of CCTV as an effort to supervise the operator.
