Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap gaya hidup hedonisme pada komunitas atau klub mobil di kota Malang. Subjek penelitian ini mengambil 80 orang subjek. Kriteria dari subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota komunitas mobil yang ada di Malang, berusia 18-25 tahun yang belum bekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel status sosial ekonomi dan gaya hidup hedonis. Skala status sosial ekonomi merupakan hasil modifikasi dari skala B. Kappuswamy (1981), sedangkan gaya hidup hedonis merupakan hasil modifikasi dari Naeli (2014). Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data regresi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap gaya hidup hedonisme pada komunitas atau klub mobil di Malang.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of the parents socioeconomic status toward hedonism in car community or club at Malang. This study use 80 people as subject. Criteria of the subject is the members of car community in Malang and aged 18-25 years who haven’t worked. This study used socioeconomic status and hedonism as variables. Socioeconomic status scale was modified from B. Kappuswamy (1981) and hedonism from Naeli (2014). This study is quantitative which used simple regression as data analysis. The result is socioeconomic status have influence toward hedonism in car community or club at Malang.
