Abstract
Kota Batu merupakan simpul wisata yang memiliki daya tarik besar. Berdasarkan Kota Batu Dalam Angka Tahun 2015, jumlah wisatawan Kota Batu pada tahun 2014 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11%. Permasalahan yang muncul sebagai dampak dari potensi wisata Kota Batu tersebut ialah kemacetan yang juga dirasakan di wilayah Kota Malang. Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Timur Tahun 2011-2031, telah dijelaskan rencana pengembangan jalan tol Surabaya-Malang. Rencana pengembangan jalan tol Surabaya-Malang akan mendorong bertambahnya jumlah pergerakan menuju Kota Batu melalui arah Kota Malang. Pemerintah yang tergabung dalam wilayah Kota Batu, Kota Malang dan Kabupaten Malang memiliki rencana untuk mengatasi permasalahan kemacetan dan dampak dari pengoperasian Jalan Tol Pandaan-Malang, salah satunya dengan pengembangan moda kereta gantung. Pengembangan kereta gantung pada Kota Batu yang menghubungkan antar objek daya tarik wisata dengan penempatan stasiun utama pada Kaliwatu dengan tujuan memecah arus lalu lintas kendaraan yang memasuki Kota Batu. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan moda untuk perjalanan rute Kota Malang-Kota Batu, dan membuat permodelan pemilihan moda antara kendaraan pribadi dengan kereta gantung, serta menganalisis probability perpindahan moda dari kendaraan pribadi ke kereta gantung untuk perjalanan rute Kota Malang-Kota Batu. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa peluang pemilihan kereta gantung dengan hasil 40% pengguna kendaraan pribadi beralih menggunakan kereta gantung. Untuk menunjang hal tersebut, biaya tiket kereta gantung harus disesuaikan dengan jarak tempuh dan fasilitas kereta gantung untuk mengefisienkan biaya tiket agar tidak melebihi biaya perjalanan yang dikeluarkan jika menggunakan kendaraan pribadi. Waktu tempuh perjalanan dengan kereta gantung pun harus lebih cepat dibandingkan menggunakan kendaraan pribadi. Rute kereta gantung pun harus strategis pada lokasi-lokasi yang memiliki tingkat bangkitan dan tarikan yang besar untuk menempatkan stasiun-stasiun yang akan digunakan sebagai tujuan calon pengguna kereta gantung.
English Abstract
Batu City is a tourist node that has great appeal. Based on Batu City In Figures 2015, the number of Batu City tourists in 2014 increased by 11%. The problems that arise as the impact of the Batu City tourism potential is the congestion that is also felt in the area of Malang. Spatial Plan of East Java Province Year 2011-2031, has been explained plan of Surabaya-Malang toll road development and will encourage the increasing number of movements to Batu City through the direction of Malang City. The government incorporated in Batu City, Malang City and Malang Regency have plans to overcome the congestion problem and the impact of the operation of Pandaan-Malang Toll Road, one of them with the development of the cable car mode. The development of a cable car in Batu City that connects between tourist attraction objects with the placement of the main station in Kaliwatu with the aim of breaking the traffic flow of vehicles entering Batu City. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the selection of modes for the route of Malang City-Batu City, and make modeling of the mode selection between private vehicles by cable car, and analyze the probability of moving modes from private vehicles to cable cars for the route of Malang City - Batu City. The results of this study can be seen that the chances of cable car selection with the results of 40% of private vehicle users switching by cable car. To support this, the cost of a cable car ticket must be adjusted to the distance traveled and the cable car facility to streamline ticket costs so as not to exceed the travel costs incurred when using a private vehicle. Travel time by cable car should be faster than using a private vehicle. The hanging rail route must also be strategically located at locations that have a great degree of awakening and pulling to place stations to be used as a prospective cable car’user.
