Abstract
Siklus rankine merupakan siklus yang mendasari pembangkit daya dengan fluida kerja uap.Salah satu upaya meningkatkan nilai dari kerja dari siklus rankine adalah menggunakan sistem regenerative. Siklus Regenerative merupakan proses pertukaran panas antara fluida yang berekspansi di dalam turbin uap dengan compressed liquid sampai suhu jenuh sebelum proses penambahan kalor. Proses regenerative terjadi di dalam feedwater heater dengan feedwater dan ekspansi uap dari turbin Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh feedwater heater terhadap perubahan dari konsumsi bahan bakar dan nilai dari heat rate powerplant pada PT.PJB Paiton unit 9. Nilai dari konsumsi bahan bakar menunjukan berapa kebutuhan bahan bakar yang harus ditambah. Sedangkan nilai dari heat rate powerplant menunjukkan berapa jumlah kalor yang dibutuhkan untuk membangkitkan daya sebesar 1 kWh dalam 1 jam. Variasi yang digunakan adalah HPH off service dengan variasi 1 HPH off service, 2 HPH off service dan 3 HPH off service. Penelitian ini menggunakan software Gatecycle sebagai media permodelan operasi pembangkit. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa performa feedwater heater berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar dan plant heat rate, dimana semakin sedikit banyak HPH off service maka semakin rendah suhu air feedwater. Penurunan feedwater heater akan mempengaruhi beban dari economizer, reheater dan superheater. Off service dari HPH membuat uap yang bekerja pada turbin uap akan meningkat sehingga daya yang dihasilkan meningkat. Nilai dari konsumsi bahan bakar terbesar pada variasi HPH 1, 2, & 3 normal dengan nilai 26245 kg/hr sedangkan nilai heat rate plant terendah dihasilkan pada HPH 1, 2, & 3 off service dengan nilai 1435.7 kcal/kWh. Kerusakan feedwater heater sebagai pemanas feedwater pada proses regenerative dapat menambah kebutuhan bahan bakar dan menaikkan nilai dari heat rate powerplant
English Abstract
Rankine cycle is fundamental cycle in electrical powerplant with steam as a working fluid. One of the way to increase value of rankine cycle is using regnerative system. Regenerative cycle is one of a kind process of heat transfer between fluid that expansion in steam turbine and compressed liquid until reach saturated temperature before adding some heat. Regenerative process held on feedwater heater with expansion steam originated from bleeding steam turbines before adding some amount of heat in boiler system This research intend to know effect of feedwater heater performance against fuel consumption and heat rate powerplant at PT PJB Paiton unit 9. Where the value of fuel consumption show how much mass flow of fuel that must be added. Meanwhile value of heat rate powerplant show how much heat that needed in order to generate power in amount of 1 kWh for 1 hours. The variation of this research is HPH off service with 1 unit, 2 unit and 3 unit that off service. This research using software Gatecycle as media for modelling of operation powerplant. The result of this research show that feedwater heater performance take effect with fuel consumption and heat rate powerplant, the more of HPH off service then more lower the temperature of feedwater. Deflation of feedwater heater is affect for economizer, reheater and superheater duty in boiler system. Off service of HPH make the steam that working in steam turbines will increase thus power that generate will increase automatically. Value of the highest fuel consumption in this research held on variation that HPH 1 until 3 is on service with 26245 kg/hr . While the highest value of heat rate powerplant held on variation that HPH 1 until 3 is off service with 1437 kcal/kWh. Breakdown of feedwater heater as heater in regenerative process will increase of requisite fuel consumption and value of heat rate powerplant
