Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya klasifikasi Indeks Desa Membangun provinsi Jawa Timur, yang mengkategorikan Desa Bendosari sebagai salah satu dari desa yang statusnya tertinggal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu membandingkan hasil pengelompokan metode Single Linkage, metode Average Linkage dan metode Complete Linkage, mendapatkan hasil pengelompokan terbaik berdasarkan rasio simpangan baku dalam dan antar kelompok serta aplikasi analisis Biplot karakteristik Rukun Tetangga (RT) Desa Bendosari. Analisis Biplot memiliki karakteristik yaitu tidak dapat mengetahui secara detail pengelompokan obyek dan variabel. Analisis Biplot tersebut kemudian dikombinasikan dengan analisis cluster, sehingga dibutuhkan analisis tambahan yaitu kombinasi analisis Biplot dan analisis cluster. Ukuran jarak yang digunakan yaitu jarak Euclidean. Kriteria pemilihan metode pautan terbaik yang digunakan adalah rasio simpangan baku dalam cluster dan simpangan baku antar cluster yang terkecil. Berdasarkan nilai rasio simpangan baku dalam cluster dan simpangan baku antar cluster, menunjukkan pengelompokan metode Complete Linkage merupakan metode yang lebih baik daripada metode lainnya dengan nilai rasio sebesar 0,607. Dengan menggunakan metode Complete Linkage diperoleh 3 cluster atau kelompok yaitu diperoleh bahwa cluster 1 terdiri dari 2 wilayah RT dan cluster 2 terdiri dari 4 wilayah RT dan cluster 3 terdiri dari 17 wilayah RT.
English Abstract
This research is motivated by the classification of Village Development Index of East Java province, which categorizes Bendosari Village as one of the villages whose status is left behind. The purpose of this study is to compare the results of grouping of Single Linkage method, Average Linkage method and Complete Linkage method, get best grouping result based on standard deviation ratio in and between groups and application of biplot analysis of Rukun Tetangga (RT) characteristics of Bendosari Village. Biplot analysis has a characteristic that is not able to know in detail the grouping of objects and variables. Then biplot analysis are improved by cluster analysis, so additional analysis is required that is a combination of Biplot analysis and cluster analysis. The distance of the used distance is Euclidean distance. The best selection method selection criteria used is the standard deviation ratio in the cluster and the standard deviation between the smallest clusters. Based on the standard deviation ratio value in clusters and standard deviations between clusters, the grouping of Complete Linkage method is a better method than the other method with the ratio value of 0,607. By using Complete Linkage method obtained 3 cluster or group that is obtained that cluster 1 consist of 2 RT and cluster 2 consist of 4 RT and cluster 3 consist of 17 RT.
