Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan seismik inversi untuk memetakan dan membuktikan potensi reservoir di interval Gumai, Sub-Cekungan Jambi, Cekungan Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah inversi seismik impedansi akustik, yang meliputi koreksi log pada zona casing shoe, pembuatan log pseudo sonic, dan interpretasi hasil inversi diintegrasikan dengan data petrofisika, data well log, dan data mudlog. Hasil inversi impedansi akustik dengan bantuan log pseudo sonic yang dibuat terbukti dapat meningkatkan sensitivitas perubahan litologi pada hasil inversi impedansi akustik dan mempertajam detail datanya. Hasil dari seismik inversi menunjukkan persebaran reservoir yang baik didapatkan secara merata pada interval Sand E yang telah dibor oleh 12 sumur dan ditentukan zona reservoir memiliki cut-off nilai impedansi akustik sebesar 17000 ((ft/s)*(g/cc)) atau 5,181*106 ((m/s)*(kg/m3)), dengan nilai porositas sebesar 15-40%.

English Abstract

Seismic inversion study had been conducted to prove and map reservoir potential at Gumai Interval, Jambi Sub-Basin, South Sumatra Basin. This study about seismic inversion including casing shoe zone correction, synthesizing and utilizing pseudo sonic log, and integrated interpretation with help from petrophysics data, well log, and mudlog. The acoustic impedance inversion with pseudo sonic log show that the method can improve sensitivity of rapid lithology change and also improve the detail of the data. Seismic inversion result showed good reservoir across Sand E interval that had been drilled by 12 wells with the acoustic impedance cut-off at 17000 ((ft/s)*(g/cc)) or 5,181*106 ((m/s)*(kg/m3)), with the porosity valued between 15 to 40%.
