Abstract
Kode linear merupakan kode yang paling dasar dan sangat berguna pada teori pengkodean. Secara umum, kode linear merupakan kode atas field berhingga pada metrik Hamming. Di antara keluarga kode yang paling menarik adalah kode self-dual karena kode ini dapat mengoreksi eror dengan baik. Konsep metrik Hamming mengalami perkembangan menjadi metrik Rosenbloom Tsfasman (metrik RT). Kode self-dual pada metrik Hamming belum tentu self-dual pada metrik RT. Pada skripsi ini, dibahas mengenai definisi, lemma, dan teorema yang berkaitan dengan kode self-dual pada metrik RT yang meliputi sifat-sifat kode linear pada metrik RT, eksistensi kode self-dual pada metrik RT, serta konstruksi kode self-dual pada metrik RT.
English Abstract
Linear code is a very basic code and very usefull in coding theory. Generally, linear code is code over finite field in Hamming metric. Among the most fascinating families of codes, the family of self-dual code is a very important one. One reason is that self-dual code is the best known error-correcting code. Hamming metric concept developed into Rosenbloom-Tsfasman metric (RT metric). Most of the codes which are self-dual in Hamming metric are not so in RT metric. This final project discusses the definition, lemma, and theorem that is related to self-dual code in RT metric which including the characteristics of linear code in RT metric, existence of self-dual code in RT metric, and the construction of self-dual code in RT metric.
