Abstract
Perkembangan informasi yang mengarah kepada kebutuhan informasi pemustaka ke koleksi digital membuat perpustakaan mulai menyediakan koleksi dalam bentuk digital salah satunya adalah layanan repositori institusi. Repositori institusi merupakan arsip digital yang didalamnya memuat tentang hasil karya ilmiah sivitas akademika. Salah satu Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi yang menyediakan repositori institusi adalah Perpustakaan Universitas Ma Chung Malang. Repositori institusi Universitas Ma Chung Malang lebih dikenal dengan istilah Portal perguruan Tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, dan mendeskripsikan penerapan serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat repositori institusi di Perpustakaan Universitas Ma Chung. Penelitian ini mengunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan Qualitative for Library Research. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles, et al. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk repositori institusi Universitas Ma Chung Malang sudah berisi konten digital, pengguna repositori institusi tidak dibedakan antara sivitas akademika ataupun non sivitas akademika namun terdapat perbedaan koleksi yang dapat diakses, adanya dukungan instansi induk yaitu dengan adanya anggaran rutin, file yang didepositkan ke dalam database repositori institusi sudah dapat bertahan lama dan permanen yaitu format PDF dan repositori institusi Universitas Ma Chung Malang sudah menganut open access namun belum secara teks lengkap sehingga terbatas pada Bab I, Bab II, Bab V dan Daftar pustaka saja saat diakses dari luar perpustakaan. Bentuk repositori institusi Universitas Ma Chung Malang dipengaruhi dengan adanya faktor pendukung yaitu terpenuhinya kebutuhan informasi pemustaka dalam bentuk digital serta penggunaan teknologi informasi untuk temu kembali yang mudah, cepat dan tepat. Adanya pusat sentralisasi koleksi karya ilmiah sivitas akademika Universitas Ma Chung, sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah kurangnya sarana prasarana dan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang dimiliki perpustakaan Universitas Ma Chung Malang dalam hal layanan repositori institusi.
English Abstract
The development of information that leads to the information of the readers’ needs to the digital collection that make library begins to provide digital collection, one of them is Institutional Repository service. Institutional Repository is the digital archive which contains scientific work of academicians. One of the College Libraries that provides Institutional Repository is Universitas Ma Chung’s Library, Malang. Institutional Repository of Universitas Ma Chung Malang is better known by the term of Portal Perguruan Tinggi. This research is aimed to know and to describe the implementation also the supporting and the weak factors of institutional Repository in the library of Universitas Ma Chung Malang. This research is a case study that is used Qualitative for Library Research as the approach. The data analysis technique that is used is analysis of interactive model. Miles, et al. The finding of this research shows that the implementation of institutional Repository in Universitas Ma Chung Malang has contained digital content, the users of institutional Repository were not differentiated between scientific work of academicians and not-scientific work of academicians, bur there is the difference accessible collection, there is main agency supported which is a continuously budget, file which is deposited to the permanent institutional Repository database formed in PDF and the Institutional Repository of Universitas Ma Chung Malang has adhered the open access but it has not completed in textual form so it is limited for the Chapter I, Chapter II, Chapter V and References when it is being accessed outside the library. The implementation of Institutional Repository in Universitas Ma Chung Malang is influenced by the supporting factor which is the fulfillment of the information needs for the readers in the form of digital also the use of information technology for easy, fast and precise retrieval. The centralization of the collection of scientific work of academicians of Universitas Ma Chung, while the weak factor is the lack of facilities and infrastructures and Human Resources owned by the library in Universitas Ma Chung in the service of Institutional Repository.
