Abstract
Penyesuaian tata letak (layout) website satu kolom, dua kolom, dan tiga kolom perlu dilakukan pada berbagai device seperti tablet dan smartphone. Penataan layout website menjadi hal yang penting karena ketika website dekstop diakses melalui tablet dan smartphone, maka tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi website tersebut akan menurun. Hal tersebut terjadi karena ada perbedaan ukuran layar dekstop dengan tablet dan smartphone. Dengan ukuran layar desktop yang besar, pengguna website akan lebih cepat menemukan informasi karena komponen pada website menyesuaikan ukuran layar dekstop. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penataan layout website versi tablet dan smartphone. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan User Centered Design (UCD) dan Material Design Guidelines (MDG) akan didapatkan model penataan layout untuk website satu kolom, dua kolom, dan tiga kolom versi tablet dan smartphone. Untuk mengukur adanya perubahan nilai efektivitas dan efisiensi pada website sebelum dan sesudah dimodelkan, digunakan persamaan dari Anton Sergeev (2010). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pemodelan menggunakan pendekatan UCD lebih meningkatkan nilai efektivitas dan efisiensi pada website dengan satu dan dua kolom baik versi tablet maupun smartphone. Sedangkan untuk website dengan tiga kolom versi tablet, pendekatan MDG lebih meningkatan efektivitas dan efisiensi dan untuk versi smartphone, pendekatan UCD lebih meningkatan efektivitas dan efisiensi.
English Abstract
Website layout adjustments for one column, two columns, and three columns need to be fit on various devices such as tablets and smartphones. Setting up the website layout becomes important because when desktop websites are accessed through tablets and smartphones, the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the website will decrease. This happens because there are differences in desktop screen size with tablets and smartphones. With a large desktop screen size, website users will find information faster because the components on the website adjust the size of the desktop screen. Therefore, need for layout of the website layout of tablets and smartphones get setting up. Using the User Centered Design (UCD) and Materials Design Guidelines (MDG) approach, we will get layout model for website one column, two column and three column of tablet and smartphone version.. To measure any changes in the effectiveness and efficiency of the website before and after the modeling, the equation of Anton Sergeev (2010) is used. Based on the results of research, modeling using UCD approach further increase the value of effectiveness and efficiency on the website with one and two columns both tablet and smartphone versions. As for the website with three columns tablet version, MDG approach more effectiveness and efficiency increase and for smartphone version, UCD approach more increase effectiveness and efficiency.
