Abstract
Protozoa usus merupakan salah salah satu penyebab terbanyak diare di Indonesia yang dapat ditularkan dari hewan ternak ke manusia.Diare dapat ditransmisikan melalui kontak langsung dengan ookista protozoa usus yang terdapat pada feses sapi perah ataupun tertelannya makanan yang telah terkontaminasi. Protozoa usus yang dapat menyebabkan diare adalah Cryptosporidium sp. Indikator yang dapat digunakan untuk melihat risiko diare pada peternak sebagai salah satu yang berisiko adalah dengan mengkaitkan jumlah dan jenis protozoa usus yang ditemukan pada feses sapi perah dengan higienitas personal peternak sapi perah di Desa Beji. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara higienitas personal peternak dengan risiko diare akibat protozoa usus yang ditemukan pada feses sapi perah.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan sampel penelitian berupa feses sapi perah dan kuesioner.. Sampel diambil dengan metode random sampling.Sampel diambil setelah memasukkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil uji analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan ( p < alpha 5%) dari kedua variabel. Hubungan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat higienitas personal peternak, maka risiko diare akibat protozoa usus yang ditemukan pada feses sapi perah semakin rendah.
English Abstract
Intestinal protozoa is one of the most common causes of diarrhea in Indonesia that can be transmitted from livestock to humans. Diarrhea can be transmitted by direct contact with intestinal protozoal oocysts found in dairy cattle feces or ingestion of contaminated food. The intestinal protozoa that can cause diarrhea is Cryptosporidium sp. The indicator that can be used to see the risk of diarrhea in the breeder as one of the risks is to associate the number and type of protozoa of the intestine found in dairy cows with personal hygiene of cattle breeder in Beji Village. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between personal hygiene breeders with the risk of diarrhea due to protozoa intestine found in the feces of dairy cattle. This research was conducted by collecting the research samples in the form of dairy cow feces and questionnaires. Samples taken by random sampling method. Samples were taken after entering inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the data analysis test showed a significant relationship (p <alpha 5%) of the two variables. The relationship indicates that the higher the level of personal hygiene breeders, the risk of diarrhea due to protozoal bowel found in lower dairy feces
