Abstract
Perilaku regresi merupakan masalah yang sering muncul pada populasi anak usia prasekolah yang menjalani hospitalisasi. Reaksi regresi yang dibiarkan berkelanjutan dan tidak segera dihindari akan menimbulkan dampak yang kurang baik pada kerjasama anak dan orang tua pada perawatan anak selama di rumah sakit,sehingga menyebabkan bertambahnya lama rawat di rumah sakit. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam menangangi tingkat regresi adalah dengan cara terapi bermain lilin malam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi bermain lilin malam terhadap tingkat regresi anak prasekolah yang mengalami hospitalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain true experimental dengan metode pretest posttest control group design dilakukan pada 10 responden kelompok kontrol dan 10 responden kelompok perlakuan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Analisa data menggunakan uji dependent T test pre test dan post test dari masing kelompok kontrol yang didapatkan nilai p= p=0,751 (p>0,05) dan kelompok perlakuan dengan nilai p=0,002 (p<0,05) kemudian data diuji menggunakan uji Independent T test untuk melihat selisih hasil perbandingan antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan yang menunjukkan nilai signifikan (p= 0,043< 0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh terapi bermain lilin malam terhadap perubahan tingkat regresi anak prasekolah yang mengalami hospitalisasi.
English Abstract
Regression behavior is a problem which frequently appear in pre-school children who underwent hospitalization.Continuous regression will cause negative impacts that decrease the cooperation of children and and parents on child care while in hospital, Causing an increase in length of stay in the hospital.One way that can be done in winning the regression level is by way of therapy to play dough night. This study aims to determine the effect of night wax therapy therapy on the level of regression of preschool children who experience hospitalization. This research uses true experimental design with pretest posttest control group design method done on 10 respondent of control group and 10 respondent of treatment group. Sampling using probability sampling with simple random sampling method. Data analysis using test dependent T test pre test and post test from each control group obtained p value p=0,751 (p>0,05) and treatment group with value p=0,002 (p<0,05) then data tested by using independent test T test to see difference of comparison between control group and treatment group showing significant value (p= 0,043< 0,05). The conclusion of this research is the influence of night wax therapy therapy to change of regression level of preschool children who are hospitalized. Based on this research, health workers, especially nurses can provide innovation in overcoming the regression behavior that arises from hospitalization in preschoolers by providing night therapy playdough.
