Abstract
Dalam berkomunikasi, kita perlu memahami bagaimana cara menyampaikan pesan dengan menggunakan kata-kata yang tepat. Elipsis merupakan pelesapan kata dari suatu kalimat yang sering terjadi dalam percakapan sehari-hari agar pesan yang disampaikan lebih efektif. Meskipun kata tersebut tidak diucapkan, lawan tutur tetap mampu memahami apa maksud pembicara. Deiksis penunjuk adalah salah satu kata ganti umum yang dapat mengalami elipsis. Penelitian ini membahas tentang elipsis khususnya deiksis penunjuk. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui bagaimana elipsis deiksis penunjuk dalam anime K-ON! dengan menggunakan teori Koizumi dan Halliday. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data ini menggunakan anime K-ON! episode 1 sampai 7. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan elipsis deiksis penunjuk kata kore sejumlah 11 data, elipsis deiksis penunjuk kata sore sejumlah 9 data, elipsis deiksis penunjuk kata are sejumlah 4 kata, elipsis deiksis penunjuk kata kono sejumlah 7 data, elipsis deiksis penunjuk kata sono sejumlah 1 data, dan elipsis deiksis penunjuk kata ano sejumlah 3 kata. Ungkapan deiksis yang ditunjuk ada pada sebelun kata itu diucapkan atau berada di luar teks dialog.
English Abstract
In communicating, we need to understand how to get a point using the right words. Ellipsis are the expression of words from a sentence that occurs in daily conversation for effectively conversation. Although the word is not spoken, the opponent can understand what the speaker means. Deixis pointer is one of the pronouns that can experience ellipsis. This study discusses the ellipsis of deixis pointer. The purpose of this study is to find out how the elliptic deixis pointer in the anime K-ON! using Koizumi and Halliday's theories. This study used descriptive qualitative method. In conducting the research, the writer chooses episodes 1-7 of K-ON! animation directed by Naoko Yamada as data resource. The research found there are 11 words elliptical deixis pointer of kore, 9 words elliptical deixis pointer of sore, 4 words elliptical deixis pointer of are, 7 words elliptical deixis pointer of kono, 1 word elliptical deixis pointer of sono, and 3 words elliptical deixis pointer of ano .The deixis intended before the word is expressed or not in the dialogue text.
