Abstract

Penilaian kinerja karyawan yang berkala diperlukan untuk menciptakan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) berkompeten. PT Surya Alam Tunggal adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pangan dengan produk unggulan udang beku. Udang beku tersebut diekspor ke beberapa negara. Penilaian kinerja yang dilakukan di PT Surya Alam Tunggal hanya digunakan sebagai laporan tahunan saja, tidak digunakan sebagai evaluasi kinerja karyawan maupun sebagai dasar promosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil perangkingan penilaian kinerja karyawan dan melakukan perbandingan implementasi hasil antara penilaian kinerja karyawan yang telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan dengan penilaian kinerja karyawan yang akan diusulkan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM)-Simple Additive Weight (SAW) karena mampu menentukan alternatif secara optimal dengan menghasilkan perangkingan dari nilai terendah hingga tertinggi. Kriteria yang digunakan untuk penilaian adalah teori Spencer yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Hasil dari validasi kriteria terdapat delapan kriteria yang akan digunakan yaitu ketelitian kerja, inisiatif, kesadaran berorganisasi, kemampuan mengarahkan, berpikir analitis, berpikir teknis, fleksibilitas dan komitmen terhadap organisasi. Penilaian kinerja akan dilakukan kepada 11 ketua regu di bagian Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) yang akan dinilai oleh responden ahli yaitu supervisor yang membawahi langsung ketua regu tersebut. viii Hasil penilaian kinerja karyawan didapatkan perangkingan dari yang tertinggi hingga terendah sebagai berikut Fauzi (5,09), Nurham (4,45), Kasmuah (4,29). Komsatun (4,29), Siti Maesaroh (4,29), Wiwik Dwi (4,21), Seniah (4,18), Sumiati (4,18), Bambang (3,98), Khoirun (3,78), dan Waji (3,66). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi penilaian kinerja karyawan sebelum dan sesudah penelitian, didapatkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai dari sebelum dan sesudah penelitian. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penilaian kinerja karyawan dengan menggunakan metode FMADM-SAW lebih cocok digunakan untuk perusahaan.

English Abstract

Employee performance appraisal are reqiured to create compotent Human Rersource Management (HRM). PT Surya Alam Tunggal is a food company with superior product of frozen shrimp. Frozen shrimp are exported to several countries. Performance appraisal conducted at PT Surya Alam Tunggal is only used as an annual report only, not used as an evaluation of employee performance or as a basis for promotion. Aims of this research was to obtain the rangking of employee performance appraiosal as well and also compare the implementation of the results between employee performace appraisal that has been done by the company with employee performance appraisal that will be proposed in this study. This research used Fuzzy Multiple Attribte Decision Making (FMADM)-Simple Additive Weight (SAW) method because it was able to determine the optimal alternative by generating the rangking from the lowest to the highest value. The criteria used in Spencer’s theory. It was adapted to the needs of the company . There are criterias that used in this research they were work accuracy, initiative, organizational awareness, directing ability, analytical thinking, technical thinking, flexibility, and commitment to the organization. Peformance appraisal was conducted to 11 team leaders in the Inidividual Quick Freezing (IQF) section which was assessed by the expert respondent the supervisor who directly supervises the team leader. Employee performance appraisal results were ranked from highest to lowest as follows Fauzi (5.09), Nurham (4.45), Kasmuah (4.29). Komsatun (4.29), Siti Maesaroh (4.29), Wiwik Dwi (4.21), Artah (4.18), Sumiati (4.18), Bambang (3,98), Khoirun (3.78) , and Waji (3,66). Based on the evaluation of employee performance before and after research, it was found x that there was an increase of value from before and after research. The result show that employee performance appraisal using FMADM-SAW method is more suitable for company.
