Hutami, Viena Annisa Firdauzy (2017) Analisis Keberlanjutan Sumberdaya Ikan Kurisi (Nemipterus Nematophorus) Yang Di Tangkap Di Perairan Masalembu Yang Didaratkan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Brondong, Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Threadfin Bream (Nemipterus nematophorus) is a type of demersal fish, sometimes forming schooling, especially in coastal areas with softly sand and little mud. This fish is categoried as predator species with small fish and other macrofauna as the main food. Usually the curly fish was as by-catch of the trawl. In Java sea, this fish is often caught by fishermen by using beach seine. This fish can reach a length of 20 cm, but is generally caught in size 15 cm. This research was conducted in May 2017 to June 2017 in Brondong Fishing Port, Lamongan Regency, East Java. The purpose of this research are to know the sustainable potential of marine fish resources, to identify the status of the utilization of y Threadfin Bream resources, and to determine the strategy of fish resources management in Lamongan Waters. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The ecological sustainability analysis used is the model of production surplus through the equilibrium state model approach namely Schaefer and Fox and non equilibrium state model that is Walter Hilborn. Result showed that based on surplus production model analysis of Threadfin Bream (N. nematophorus) the highest R square of Threadfin Bream (N. Nematophorus) on Fox model that was 0.95521 with F t value is 1.0792E-06. While R square of Schaefer and Walter Hilborn was only 0,596 and 0.4665 respectively. It meant that the change of effort strongly influenced the change of CpUE value. So the most suitable model used for sustainable resource management is the Fox model. In addition the value of Maximum sustainable Yield (MSY) was 3.975 trip/ year. While the value of Total Allowed Catch (TAC) for effort catch and effort were 8.449 ton/ year and 6.861 respectivly. Another analysis informed that status of the stock was fully exploited because it’s exploitation rate almost reached the Total Allowed Catch (TAC) level (99%). If the catch is done continuously then there will be a decrease in stock. Therefore, it is necessary to control the fishing effort and to determine the number of fishing units allowed.
