Abstract

Persentase praktik pemberian MP-ASI di Indonesia yang sesuai dengan rekomendasi waktu, frekuensi, dan kualitas hanya sebesar 41%. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi praktik tersebut adalah pengetahuan yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui edukasi terkait MP-ASI. Booklet merupakan salah satu media edukasi yang tipis namun mengandung banyak informasi. Sedangkan website memiliki jangkauan yang luas serta dapat diakses kapan dan dimana saja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan sikap dan perilaku ibu baduta terkait praktik pemberian MP-ASI sebelum dan setelah edukasi melalui media website dan booklet. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-posttest design only dengan desain pretest dan posttest terhadap responden ibu baduta di Wilayah Kota Malang (n=46) yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan sikap (p= 0,888) dan perilaku (p=0.333) sebelum edukasi; terdapat perbedaan sikap antara sebelum dan setelah edukasi melalui media website (p=0,007*) dan booklet (p=0,002*); terdapat perbedaan perilaku sebelum dan setelah edukasi pada kelompok booklet (p=0,019*), namun tidak terdapat perbedaan pada kelompok website (p=0,958); serta tidak terdapat perbedaan sikap (p=0,929) dan perilaku (p=0,389) setelah pemberian edukasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua media dapat meningkatkan skor sikap ibu terkait MP-ASI, namun dalam meningkatkan skor perilaku, media booklet lebih efektif daripada media website.

English Abstract

The percentage of complementary feeding practice in Indonesia which is in accordance with the recommendation of time, frequency, and quality only amounted to 41%. One of the factors that influence these practices is the knowledge that can be enhanced through education related to complementary food. Booklet is one of media education which are thin but contains a lot of information. While the website has a wide range and can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this research is to know the difference in attitude and behavior of mothers towards complementary feeding practice before and after education provision through website and booklet medias. This type of research was pre-posttest design only which designed with pretest and posttest against the respondent in Malang (n = 46) were selected through purposive sampling. The results showed that there was no difference in attitude (p = 0888) and behaviors (p = 0,333) before the education; There is a difference in attitude between the before and after education through website (p = 0,007) and booklet (p = 0,002 *); There is a difference of behavior before and after the education in booklet group (p = 0.019), but there are no differences in website group (p = 0,958); and there is no difference in attitude (p = 0,929) and behaviors (p = 0,389) after the education of both medias. It can be concluded that the two medias can increase score of infant's mothers attitudes related to complementary feeding practice, but in improving the score of behavior, booklet is more effective than website.
