Abstract
Kabupaten Tuban merupakan salah satu kawasan pesisir yang memiliki garis pantai terpanjang di Indonesia dengan panjang garis pantai 66 km. Kawasan pesisir Tuban juga memiliki peranan penting terhadap sektor perekonomian Indonesia. Pembangunan yang dilakukan didaerah pesisir mengakibatkan perubahan dari segi sedimentasi. Pembangunan pelabuhan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan industri mengakibatkan perubahan garis pantai akibat adanya jetty dan groin di kawasan sekitar pelabuhan. Perubahan garis pantai ini akan mengakibatkan kerusakan pantai di Kecamatan Tuban, Palang, Tambakboyo , Jenu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui besar perubahan garis pantai dan tutupan lahan dari tahun 1959-2016, menganalisis hubungan antara perubahan garis pantai dengan tutupan lahan yang terjadi dari tahun 1959-2016 di Kecamatan Palang, Tuban. Tujuan lainnya yaitu memprediksi perubahan garis pantai 5 tahun kedepan. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi selama± 50 tahun di Desa Pliwetan dengan berdasarkan nilai Net Shoreline Movement (NSM) tertinggi 804.17 meter dengan End Point Rate (EPR) sebesar 14.16 sedangkan daerah abrasi berada di Desa Karang Agung dengan Nilai Net Shoreline Movement (NSM) terendah -60,45 meter dengan End Point Rate (EPR) -1.06. Perubahan tutupan lahan yang terjadi didominasi tutupan lahan permukiman dan tambak selama ±50 tahun dan pengurangan tutupan lahan kosong dan hutan. Hubungan perubahan garis pantai dan tutupan lahan bersifat fluktuatif berubahnya lahan dan bangunan pelindung pantai mempengaruhi proses perubahan garis pantai. Prediksi jangka pendek yang dilakukan 5 tahun kedepan dengan hasil menunjukkan Kecamatan Palang mengalami akresi dikarenakan pembangunan pelindung pantai seperti jetty dan seawall.
English Abstract
Tuban Regency is one of the coastal areas that has the longest coastline in Indonesia with long coastline 66 km. The coastal area of Tuban also has an important role to the Indonesian economy. The development undertaken in the coastal area resulted in a change in terms of sedimentation. The construction of ports conducted by industrial companies resulted in shoreline changes due to the jetty and groynes in the area around the harbor. This shoreline change will result in coastal damage in Tuban Sub-district, Palang, Tambakboyo, Jenu. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of coastline changes and land cover from 1959-2016, analyzing the relationship between shoreline change and land cover occurring from 1959-2016 in Palang, Tuban. Another goal is to predict shoreline changes over the next 5 years. The results of this study found that the shoreline changes that occurred for ± 50 years in the Village Pliwetan with the highest Net Shoreline Movement (NSM) value of 804.17 meters with the End Point Rate (EPR) of 14.16 while the abrasion area is in the village of Karang Agung with Net Shoreline Value Movement (NSM) lowest -60.45 meters with End Point Rate (EPR) -1.06. Changes in land cover that occurred dominated by land cover settlements and ponds for ± 50 years and reduction of land cover and empty forests. The relation of coastline change and land cover is fluctuating. Changes in land and coastal protective structures affect the shoreline change process. Short-term predictions made over the next 5 years with the results show that the Palang Sub-district has accretion due to the construction of beach protector such as jetty and seawall.
