Abstract

Pengembangan budidaya ikan tawes dimaksudkan untuk memenuhi ketahanan masyarakat akan sumber protein yang murah dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat. Salah satu faktor lingkungan yang berpengaruh sangat besar terhadap tigginya kematian ikan pada fase awal kehidupan adalah suhu. Suhu dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan rata – rata ikan dan menentukan waktu penetasan telur serta berpengaruh langsung terhadap proses perkembangan embrio dan larva. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi dan gambaran perkembangan embrio telur ikan tawes (Puntius javanicus) yang dipelihara pada suhu media inkubasi 32°C. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada perkembengan embrio telur ikan tawes (Puntius javanicus) pada suhu media inkubasi 32°C ini didapatkan suhu optimal untuk mempercepat waktu penetasan telur ikan tawes adalah 32°C. Pada suhu media inkubasi 32°C diperoleh lama waktu penetasan telur ikan tawes terjadi dalam kurun waktu 9 jam 4 menit. Kualitas air selama perkembangan embrio diperoleh suhu berkisar antara 31-320C, pH berkisar antara 6,5-8 serta kandungan oksigen terlarut (DO) berkisar antara 5,53-6,97 ppm.

English Abstract

Development of tawes aquaculture is intended to meet the resilience of the community will be a source of cheap and affordable protein by the community.One of the environmental factors that have an enormous effect on the level of fish mortality in the early phase of life is temperature. Temperature can affect the average growth of fish and determine the time of egg hatching and directly affect the development of embryo and larvae. This study aims to obtain information and description of embryo development of tawes eggs (puntius javanicus) which maintained at temperature incubation media of 32°C. The method used is descriptive method. Based on the result of research indicate that at the embryo embryo of tawes egg (Puntius javanicus) at the temperature incubation media of 32°C is obtained optimum temperature to accelerate the hatching time of tawes eggs is 32°C.At 32°C incubation media temperature obtained the duration of tawes egg hatching occurs within 9 hours 4 minutes. Water quality during embryonic development obtained temperatures ranging from 31-320C, the pH ranged from 6.5-8 and the dissolved oxygen content (DO) ranged from 5.53-6.97 ppm.
