Abstract

Perdagangan internasional adalah perdagangan yang dilakukan oleh penduduk suatu negara dengan penduduk negara lain atas dasar kesepakatan bersama. Di banyak negara, perdagangan internasional menjadi salah satu faktor utama untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan sumber devisa negara. Salah satu akibat dari perdagangan internasional adalah timbulnya persaingan antar negara. Masing-masing negara yang terlibat dalam perdangan internasional memunculkan daya saing dibandingkan negara kompetitornya, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Salah satu produk yang dipasarkan oleh Indonesia di pasar internasional adalah kelapa sawit. Tingkat daya saing kelapa sawit diukur berdasarkan keunggulan komparatif dan kompetitifnya, untuk mengukur tingkat daya saing ini digunakan 3 alat analisis. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Revealead Comparative Advantage (RCA), analisis pangsa pasar (market share) dan Indeks Spesialisasi Perdagangan (ISP). Setelah dilakukan analisis diperoleh nilai rata-rata masing-masing sebesar 45,08, 44,26 dan 0,997. Berdasrkan hasil perhitungan tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat daya saing kelapa sawit Indonesia berada di posisi pertama atau dapat dikatakan memiliki daya saing tertinggi dibandingkan dengan negara lain.

English Abstract

International trade is a trade made by a resident of a country with a resident of another country on a mutual agreement. In many countries, international trade is one of the major factors for increasing revenues and sources of foreign exchange. One result of international trade is the emergence of competition between countries. Each country involved in international trade raises its competitiveness compared to its competitor countries, including Indonesia. One of the products marketed by Indonesia in the international market is oil palm. The level of competitiveness of oil palm is measured by its comparative and competitive advantages, to measure the level of competitiveness is used 3 analytical tools. Analyzer used in this research is Revealead Comparative Advantage (RCA), market share analysis (market share) and Index of Trade Specialization (ISP). After the analysis, the mean values were 45.08, 44.26 and 0.997, respectively. Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that the level of Indonesia's palm oil competitiveness is in the first position or can be said to have the highest competitiveness compared with other countries.
