Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses maintenance khususnya dalam menunjang kelancaran proses produksi yang dilakukan oleh PT. Petrokimia Gresik. Penelitian ini menganalisis cara perusahaan dalam merawat mesin/alat untuk jangka waktu yang lebih lama. Selain itu, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penerapan Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) untuk menjaga kualitas mesin terbaru agar dapat meningkatkan produksi dan tahan lama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang menjelaskan bagaimana proses maintenance yang dilakukan,dan apa saja kendala yang sering terjadi pada waktu proses maintenance dilakukan.Serta menjelaskan bagaimana penerapan RCM yang sudah dilakukan oleh perusahaan PT. Petrokimia Gresik. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa proses maintenance yang dilakukan oleh PT. Petrokimia Gresik sudah baik. Apa yang dilakukan oleh pihak perusahaan sudah sesuai dengan proses yang diberikan. Meskipun masih adanya beberapa kendala yang terjadi saat proses maintenance berlangsung, seperti kurangnya sparepart, kurang tanggapnya para karyawan, serta adanya beberapa mesin/alat yang tidak dapat diprediksi.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the maintenance process, especially in supporting the smooth production process undertaken by PT. Petrokimia Gresik. This study analyzes the way companies take care of machines / tools for longer periods of time. In addition, this study describes the implementation of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to maintain the latest engine quality in order to increase production and durable. This type of research is descriptive research that explains how the maintenance process is done, and what are the constraints that often occur at the time of the maintenance process done. And explain how the implementation of RCM that has been done by the company PT. Petrokimia Gresik. The results explain that the maintenance process undertaken by PT. Petrokimia Gresik is good. What is done by the company is in accordance with the process given. Although there are still some obstacles that occur during the maintenance process, such as lack of spare parts, lack of responsiveness of employees, and the existence of some machines / tools that can not be predicted.
