Abstract
Antisosial adalah bagian dari gangguan kepribadian yang menyebabkan penderitanya cenderung memiliki perasaan egois, sehingga penderita gangguan kepribadian antisosial tidak dapat memiliki hubungan dekat dengan siapapun termasuk keluarganya sendiri. Mengingat hal itu, penulis mengadakan studi tentang penggambaran tokoh penderita antisosial yang terdapat dalam film We Need to Talk About Kevin. Film ini menceritakan tentang seorang remaja yang sejak kecil sudah menunjukkan gejala-gejala jika ia menderita gangguan kepribadian antisosial. Karena itulah dalam studi ini, penulis akan menjawab rumusan masalah dalam penelitian yaitu faktor yang menyebabkan Kevin mengalami gangguan kepribadian antisosial yang ditunjukkan dalam film We Need to Talk About Kevin. Studi ini menggunakan teori Psikologi Sastra, Psikoanalisis oleh Sigmund Freud, Kepribadian oleh Sigmund Freud yang mencakup struktur kepribadian yakni Id, Ego dan Superego, Gangguan kepribadian serta Gangguan kepribadian antisosial dan studi film untuk menganalisa penggambaran karakter yang menderita antisosial dalam film We Need to Talk About Kevin. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa penggambaran tokoh penderita gangguan kepribadian antisosial yang terdapat dalam film We Need to Talk About Kevin adalah; (1) Faktor lingkungan merupakan yang paling berpengaruh dalam pembentukan kepribadian seseorang. (2) Penderita sudah menunjukkan gejala bahwa ia mengidap gangguan kepribadian antisosial sejak masih kecil. (3) Penderita gangguan kepribadian antisosial cenderung sangat pintar, dapat membaca pikiran orang lain dengan mudah dan dapat merencanakan sesuatu dengan baik tanpa diketahui orang lain. (4) Penderita gangguan kepribadian antisosial tidak dapat disembuhkan dan obatnya belum ditemukan, untuk yang menyembuhkan atau yang sekedar mengurangi.
English Abstract
Antisocial is a part of personality disorder that causes the sufferer tend to have selfish feelings so that people with antisocial personality disorder cannot have a close relationship with anyone including his own family. Therefore, the researcher conducts a study of the reflection of antisocial sufferers in We Need to Talk About Kevin movie. This movie tells about a teenager who since childhood already shows symptoms that he suffers antisocial personality disorder. In this study, the researcher will answer the problem of the study which is the factors that cause Kevin experiences antisocial personality disorder shown in We Need to Talk About Kevin movie. This study uses the theory of Psychology Literature, Psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud, Personality by Sigmund Freud which includes the personality structures of Id, Ego, Superego, Personality disorder, Antisocial personality disorder, and movie studies to analyze the reflection of a character suffering antisocial in We Need to Talk About Kevin. The study shows that the reflection of antisocial personality disorder in We Need to Talk About Kevin movie are; (1) Environmental factors are the most influential in the formation of person's personality. (2) The sufferer has shown symptoms that he has personality disorder since he is childhood. (3) Antisocial people tend to be very smart, have high accuracy and the estimates rarely wrong, also can plan something well without anyone else know. (4) Antisocial personality disorder is incurable and the medicine has not been found.
