English Abstract

This research was conducted from April 11th to 22th May at Singosari Artifical Insemination Centre (BBIB) Malang. Material used on this research was fresh semen from 5 male of PE goat. Parameters that used were microscopic quality (viability and abnormality). Secondary data gained was macroscopic quality (volume, smell, color, pH and consistency) and microscopic quality (motility and concentration). The data was analyzed by using correlation and regression test. The results showed that correlation between pH and motility has positive and low correlation (0,293) while the correlation between pH and concentration was negative and medium correlation (-0,528). Correlation between pH and viability has positive and medium correlation (0,495). Correlation between pH and abnormality was negative and very low (-0,195). The conclusion of the results of this study is that the pH semen is positive correlation with motility and viability means if the pH semen drops the motility and viability will drop and pH semen negative corelation between pH with concentration and abnormality means if the pH semen drops the concentration and abnormality will high.
