Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui hubungan antara self control dengan intensitas merokok pada mahasiswi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 100 orang mahasiswi yang aktif merokok dalam sebulan terakhir yang berada di kota Malang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan peneliti pada penelitian ini adalah skala yang diadaptasi oleh peneliti yaitu skala self control dan skala yang disusun oleh penulis yaitu skala intensitas merokok. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui analisis spearman. Uji validitas menggunakan validitas isi dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach-Alpha dengan hasil 0,929 (sangat reliable). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara self control dengan intensitas merokok pada mahasiswi dengan hasil signifikansi 0,18 (<0,05).

English Abstract

This research is aims to determine the existence of self-control relationship with smoking intensity in female university students. The subjects of the research is 100 female students who actively smoked in the last month who stay in malang city by using purposive sampling. Measuring instrument used by researchers in this study is the scale modified by the researchers that is the scale of self control and scale compiled by the author that the intensity scale of smoking. The method used is quantitative with the data obtained by analyzed through spearman analysis. Validity test using content validity and reliability test using cronbach alpha (0,929). The results of research showed a relationship between self control with the intensity of smoking in female university students (0,018)
