Abstract
Gerakan bersih di Malaysia merupakan sebuah gerakan yang muncul murni karena masalah domestik yaitu terkait pemilihan umum yang terjadi di Malaysia yang di dominasi oleh Barisan Nasional. Dari pemilihan umum yang terjadi pada 2004 Barisan Nasional mendapatkan kemenangan tertinggi sejak taun 1959 yang partai oposisi Malaysia dan juga masyarakat sipil melakukan aksi turun ke jalan untuk melakukan aksi protes terhadap pemerintah terkait reformasi pemilihan umum di Malaysia yang dirasa masih banyak celah untuk melakukan kecurangan.Aksi protes dari gerakan bersih ini terbagi atas jumlah protes yang di lakukan yaitu protes bersih satu sampai protes bersih lima yang terjadi pada tahun 2016, dan semua dari aksi protes tersebut mengalami represi dari pemerintah Malaysia. Bentuk represi dari pemerintah Malaysia pada saat protes pertama sampai aksi protes ke lima inilah yang membuat gerakan bersih ini bertransformasi untuk memperluas jaringannya ke luar Malaysia untuk mendapat dukungan dari masyarakat internasional. Berdasarkan hal tersebut rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana proses transnasionalisasi gerakan bersih di Malaysia, yang mana penulis menggunakan model transnasional contention dari Sidney Tarrow. Dan dalam gerakan bersih untuk melakukan transnasionalisasi gerakan melalui proses domestication yaitu perlawanan aksi gerakan di level domestic yang akhirnya mengalami kesulitan dan membuat gerakan bersih untuk melakukan aksi transnasonalisasi. Selanjutnya adalah global framing, dimana gerakan bersih melakukan pembingkaian isu untuk dapat diterima oleh masyarakat global. Setelah melakukan global framing selanjutnya adalah transnasional diffusion yaitu penyebaran aksi perlawanan secara langsung, tidak langsung dan juga melalui pihak ketiga. Setelah melakukan aksi penyebaran perlawanan , muncul respon dari aktor-aktor internasional seperti organisasi internasional yang mendukung gerakan bersih di Malaysia ini untuk melakukan perubahan di Malaysia. Selanjutnya adalah koalisi yang di bentuk gerakan bersih dalam jangka panjang untuk mendukung demokratisasi di Malaysia.
English Abstract
Bersih movement in Malaysia is a purely emerging movement because of domestic problems that are related to the elections occurring in Malaysia dominated by the Barisan Nasional. From the 2004 general election, Barisan Nasional won the highest victory since 1959 where the opposition party Malaysia and civil society took action on the streets to protest against the government related to electoral reform in Malaysia which is felt still many loopholes to commit cheating. Aksi The protest from the bersih movement is divided into the number of protests that are carried out ie one bersih protest until the 5th clean protest that occurred in 2016, and all of the protests are experiencing repression from the Malaysian government. The form of repression from the Malaysian government during the first protest until the fifth protest made the net movement transformed to expand its network outside Malaysia to gain support from the international community. Based on this problem formulation of this research is how the process of transnationalization bersih movement in Malaysia, which the author uses transnational contention model from Sidney Tarrow. And in the net movement to transnasionalization movement through the process of domestication is the movement of action movement at the domestic level that finally had difficulties and made a clean movement to do transnasonalization action. Next is global framing, where the net movement frames issues to be accepted by the global community. After the next global framing is a transnational diffusion that is the spread of the action of resistance directly, indirectly and also through a third party. Following the spreading of the resistance, there was a response from international actors such as international organizations that supported the bersih movement in Malaysia to make changes in Malaysia. Next is a coalition that is in the form of a bersih movement in the long term to support democratization in Malaysia.
