Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara career capital dengan fear of failure pada pencari kerja berstatus fresh graduate. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 148 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala career capital yang dimodifikasi oleh Ula, Susilawati & Widyasari (2015) dan telah dimodifikasi kembali oleh penulis, serta skala fear of failure yang telah ditransadaptasi oleh Trisnawati, Susilawati & Silviandari (2013). Penelitian ini menggunakan uji hipotesis korelasi product moment pearson diperoleh rxy sebesar -0,529 dengan (p = 0,001, p < 0,05) dan termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Hipotesis penelitian diterima dimana terdapat hubungan negatif antara career capital dengan fear of failure pada pencari kerja berstatus fresh graduate. Artinya semakin tinggi career capital maka akan semakin rendah fear of failure pada pencari kerja berstatus fresh graduate, begitu juga sebaliknya.
English Abstract
This study aimed to determine the correlation between career capital and fear of failure to fresh graduate job seeker. Total sample was 148 participants that were recruited using accidental sampling technique. Data were gathered using career capital scale which is modified by Ula, Susilawati & Widyasari (2015) and has been modified again by the author, and fear of failure scale which is transadapted by Trisnawati, Susilawati & Silviandari (2013). Using correlation product moment pearson analysis obtained rxy = -0,529 (p = 0,001, p < 0,05) and included in the category enough. The research hypothesis is accepted where there is a negative correlation between career capital and fear of failure to fresh graduate job seeker. This means that the higher the career capital will be the lower fear of failure to fresh graduate job seeker, vice versa.
