Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran place attachment terhadap sikap pro lingkungan masyarakat di kampung nelayan kelurahan Mayangan Kota Probolinggo. Populasi penelitian ini adalah RT I sampai RT 4 RW 04 yang berjumlah 309 penduduk. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 154 masyarakat kelurahan Mayangan Kota Probolinggo yang dipilih secara simple random samplling. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala place attachment dan skala sikap pro lingkungan. Analisa data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil penelitian secara simultan (bersama-sama) ialah terdapat peran place dependence, place identity, place-based affective terhadap sikap pro lingkungan masyarakat di kampung nelayan Kelurahan Mayangan Kota Probolinggo. Selain itu secara parsial place dependence dan place identity memiliki peran terhadap sikap pro lingkungan, sedangkan place-based affective tidak memiliki peran terhadap sikap pro lingkungan
English Abstract
This research explores the role of place attachment toward pro environmental attitude in fisherman village of Mayangan Probolinggo. The population of this study is RT I to RT 4 RW 04 which amounts to 309 residents. The sample of this research is 154 subject that chosen by simple random sampling. The data collection of this research is done by giving scale of place attachment and pro environment attitude. The data that have been collected would be analyzed by using multiple regression analysis method with SPSS version 21.0. The result of statistical analysis shows that there is a simultaneously (together) between place dependence, place identity and place-based affective toward pro environmental attitude in Mayangan, Probolinggo city. For the place dependence and place identity dimensions also have a role toward pro environmental attitude. Whereas, for the placebased affective has no role toward pro-environment attitude.
