Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan mood positif dan mood negatif terhadap false memory recognition. Penelitian ini menggunakan between subject design dengan melibatkan 85 partisipan yang terbagi menjadi dalam dua kelompok penelitian, yaitu kelompok mood positif (7 laki-laki, 36 perempuan) dan kelompok mood negatif (16 laki-laki, 26 perempuan). False recognition diuji dengan menggunakan paradigma DRM (Deese-Roediger-McDermott), induksi mood dengan menggunakan video. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Independent Sample t-Test untuk uji hipotesis, Kolmogorov-SmirnoZ untuk uji normalitas, dan Levene’s Test untuk uji homogenitas. Induksi mood dapat dinyatakan berhasil, dimana pengukuran manipulation check menunjukkan perbedaan antara kedua kelompok mood (p=0,000). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan false memory recognition antara kelompok mood positif dan mood negatif (p = 0,924).
English Abstract
The purpose of this study was to see difference between positive mood and negative mood on false memory recognition. In this study used between subject design involving 85 participant which are divided into two groups, positive mood group (7 men, 36 women) and negative mood group (16 men, 26 women). False recognition was tested using DRM paradigm (Deese- Roediger-McDermott), videos used to induced mood. Data were analyzed using Independent Sample t-Test to test the hypothesis, Kolmogorov-SmirnoZ to test for normality, and Levene’s Test for homogenity test. Mood was successfully induced, mnipulation check showed difference between two groups (p=0,000). The result showed that there was no differences false memory recognition between positive mood group and negative mood group (p=0,924).
