Efek Mood Negatif terhadap False Memory Recognition Confidence

Natalia, Chrisrine (2017) Efek Mood Negatif terhadap False Memory Recognition Confidence. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of negative mood on false memory recognition confidence. The method used for this research was true experiment with between subject subject design. A total participant 79 undergraduate students of psychology in Brawijaya University involved in this study and divided into two groups that are experiment group (with negative mood induction) and control group (with neutral mood induction). False memory recognition confidence was measured by the Deese-Roediger-McDermott (DRM) paradigm. The negative mood used a video of a war in Allepo as an induction and the manipulation check was measured using the Pick-A-Mood scale. The results of this study showed that negative mood and neutral mood did not have a significant effect on false memory recognition confidence (p = 0.188).
