Abstract

Korupsi merupakan tindakan yang tidak bermoral dan bertentangan dengan prinsip agama (Brown, 2005; Mensah, 2014; Wahyuni, dkk., 2015). Korupsi menjadi permasalahan yang serius diseluruh dunia tidak terkecuali di Indonesia (Dion, 2010). Pemberantasan perilaku korupsi dapat dilakukan dengan cara melakukan penindakan hukum dan kampanye anti korupsi. Namun, upaya tersebut belum menunjukan hasil yang positif jika tidak mampu merubah moral masyarakat untuk tidak melakukan korupsi (Li, dkk., 2016). Agama sebagai ajaran moral dapat digunakan untuk memberantas perilaku korupsi dengan cara memperbaiki moral masyarakat agar tidak melakukan perilaku korupsi (Brown, 2005; Mensah, 2014; Wahyuni, dkk., 2015). Salah satu indikator keberhasilan dalam merubah moral masyarakat adalah zero tolerance of corruption (Li, dkk., 2016; Gong & Wang, 2013). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah penerima pesan dapat berubah sikap zero tolerance of corruption setelah dipaparkan islamic music sholawatan anti korupsi karya Habib Rizieq As-shihab yang mampu mempengaruhi aspek kognitif dan aspek afektif penerima pesan (Petty & Fabrigar, 1999;Shevy & Hung, 2013). Selain treatment, peneliti juga akan memperhatikan karakteristik penerima pesan seperti faith motivation (Yoon, 2011), Jenis umur (Prabowo, 2014, Baboo, dkk,.,2013) dan jenis pendidikan (Tahlil, dkk, 2013) yang mampu mempengaruhi evaluasi sikap penerima pesan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa evaluasi penerima pesan yang didasarkan pada karakteristik penerima pesan (faith motivation, kategorisasi umur), jenis pendidikan (islamic school) dan treatment yang diberikan pada penerima pesan mampu mempengaruhi evaluasi sikap penerima pesan.

English Abstract

Corruption is immoral and contrary to religious principles (Brown, 2005, Mensah, 2014; Wahyuni, et al., 2015). Corruption is a serious problem throughout the world is no exception in Indonesia. Combating corruption can be done by law enforcement and anti-corruption campaign. However, these efforts have not shown a positive result if it is not able to change the moral of society to not do corruption (Li, et al., 2016). Religion as a moral teaching can be used to eradicate corrupt behavior by improving people's morals in order not to engage in corrupt behavior (Brown, 2005, Mensah, 2014; Wahyuni, et al., 2015). One indicator of success in changing people's moral is zero tolerance of corruption (Li et al., 2016; Gong & Wang, 2013). This study aims to see whether the recipient of the message can change the attitude of zero tolerance of corruption after exposed Islamic music sholawatan anti-corruption Habib Rizieq As-shihab able to influence aspects of cognitive and affective aspects of message recipients (Petty & Fabrigar, 1999; Shevy & Hung, 2013 ). In addition to treatment, researchers will also consider the characteristics of the message recipient as faith motivation (Yoon, 2011), type of age (Prabowo, 2014, Baboo, et al., 2013) and the type of education (Tahlil, et al, 2013) which is able to affect the evaluation of the attitude of the receiver message. The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of message recipients based on the characteristics of message recipients (faith motivation, age categorization), type of education (Islamic education) and treatment given to the recipient of the message can influence the evaluation of the attitude of the recipient of the message.
