Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan body image dengan kepercayaan diri pada pengguna tato. Variabel bebas adalah body image dan variabel terikat adalah kepercayaan diri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 100 pengguna tato, dengan menggunakan teknik sampling accidental sampling. Hasil dari perhitungan statistik diperoleh koefisien r sebesar 0,434 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara body image dengan kepercayaan diri, yang artinya semakin positif body image maka akan semakin tinggi pula kepercayaan diri.

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of body image and self-confidence on the tattoo. The research methodology used is the type of quantitative correlation techniques. This study was conducted on 100 users tattoos, using accidental sampling. Based on statistical calculations obtained by the value of the coefficient r of 0.434 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05). The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between body image with confidence, which means if the more positive values body image, then it will result in the value of the confidence is getting higher.
