Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara psychological capital dengan fear of failure pada pencari kerja berstatus fresh graduate. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 155 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Alat ukur dalam pengumpulan data penelitian adalah skala psychological capital berdasarkan teori Luthans, Youssef & Avolio (2007) yang telah ditransadaptasi oleh Octaviani (2015), serta skala fear of failure berdasarkan teori Conroy (2002) yang telah ditransadaptasi oleh Trisnawati (2013). Penelitian ini menggunakan uji hipotesis korelasi product moment pearson diperoleh rxy sebesar -0,204 dengan (p = 0,011, p < 0,05) sehingga terdapat hubungan negatif antara psychological capital dengan fear of failure yang berarti semakin tinggi psychological capital yang dimiliki individu maka akan semakin rendah fear of failure pada pencari kerja berstatus fresh graduate.
English Abstract
This study was aimed to determine the correlation between psychological capital and fear of failure to fresh graduate job seeker. Total sample in this research were 155 participants that were recruited using accidental sampling technique. Data were gathered using psychological capital scale theory by Luthans, Youssef, Avolio (2007) which is transadapted by Octaviani (2015), fear of failure scale theory by Conroy (2002) which is transadapted by Trisnawati (2013). Using correlation product moment pearson analysis obtained rxy = -0,204 (p = 0,011, p < 0,05), it was found there is negative correlation between psychological and fear of failure that’s mean if the higher of psychological capital that have so that is the lower of fear of failure that have to the fresh graduate job seeker.
