Abstract
Metode Steffensen merupakan metode iterasi tanpa turunan yang optimal dengan orde kekonvergenan dua. Teknik untuk mendapatkan metode iterasi baru yang optimal berdasarkan metode Steffensen berguna untuk meningkatkan ketelitian dan efisiensi (performa) termasuk orde kekonvergenan. Metode iterasi baru yang optimal dibuat melalui modifikasi metode Newton serta bantuan aproksimasi Pade`. Metode ini dapat diperluas orde kekonvergenannya bergantung pada jumlah derajat aproksimasi Pade` yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan performa dalam menyelesaikan persamaan nonlinear. Akan tetapi, dalam metode iterasi baru yang optimal, waktu yang diperlukan untuk proses setiap iterasi bergantung pada orde kekonvergenan. Semakin tinggi orde kekonvergenan, semakin besar waktu proses yang diperlukan untuk setiap iterasi.
English Abstract
Steffensen’s method is an optimal non-derivative iteration method with second order of convergence. This technique to obtain the new optimal iteration methods based on Steffensen’s method are useful to improve accuracy and efficiency (performance) include order of convergence. The new optimal iteration method were created through modification of Newton’s method and Pade` approximant’s. This method can expand the order of convergence depends on amount of degrees in Pade` approximant to improve performance in solving nonlinear equation. However in a new optimal iteration method, the time required for every iteration process depends on order of convergence. The more number of order of convergences, the more process time required for every iteration.
